This paper evaluates the technical, economic, and environmental feasibility of residential prosumer implementation in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the integration of photovoltaic (PV) generation and battery energy storage. A simulation‑based assessment was performed in HOMER Pro using a measured 12‑month household load profile with an average daily consumption of 11.25 kWh and a peak demand of 2.85 kW. Six system configurations were investigated, consisting of 3 kW, 4 kW, and 5 kW PV installations, each analyzed with and without a 5.04 kWh lithium‑ion battery, over a 25‑year project lifetime under a zero‑credit export scheme. Advances in machine learning for healthcare are abundant, yet most validated models remain confined to research notebooks and never reach secure, usable clinical software. This paper addresses that deployment gap by presenting a unified, security-hardened software platform that operationalizes two complementary streams of doctoral research inside a single, role-based hospital information system. The first stream contributes a clinical-prediction capability: an ultra-hybrid ensemble that couples a quantum-inspired feature transformation, particle-swarm feature selection, and calibrated soft voting for cancer-outcome prediction (96.41% accuracy, AUC-ROC 0.983 on TCGA-BRCA), survival stratification, multi-cancer generalization, and pharmacogenomic drug-response classification (89.31% mean accuracy across 25 compounds). This paper presents a dual-layered AI framework for real-time landslide risk assessment developed under the GeoNetSee project within the Interreg Danube Region Programme. The first layer employs a fuzzy logic model, inspired by the Slovenian MASPREM system, which integrates Landslide Susceptibility Maps (LSS) with high-resolution precipitation forecasts from the Open-Meteo API to generate a Predicted Landslide Hazard (PLSH) score on a 0–5 scale, updated every 6–12 hours. Fuzzy inference systems have demonstrated considerable promise for EEG-based cognitive state monitoring in neurodegenerative conditions. However, two design decisions significantly influence system performance and clinical applicability: the choice of inference architecture (Takagi-Sugeno vs Mamdani) and the method of rule and membership function generation (manual expert-driven vs data-driven automated). Background: Gingivitis is the earliest and most reversible stage of periodontal disease, characterized by inflammation of the gingiva caused by the accumulation of plaque. In addition to removing plaque, mouthwash containing antiseptic or anti-inflammatory could be used as an adjunct therapy.

Background: Patients with congenital heart disease who have previously undergone right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) surgery frequently require repeat valve replacement later in life. While transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement (TPVR) offers less invasive reintervention compared with surgery, its high device cost raises concerns about affordability under Indonesia’s National Health Insurance Program (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional).

Background: Diphtheria remains endemic in parts of Thailand and continues to threaten unvaccinated populations. To strengthen vaccine self-sufficiency, the Government Pharmaceutical Organization has developed in-house diphtheria–tetanus–pertussis (DTP) and diphtheria– tetanus (dT) vaccines. Potency testing of diphtheria toxoid is traditionally performed in guinea pigs; however, limitations in animal availability, cost, and logistics have prompted evaluation of alternative models.

This disclosure describes a curved-surface capacitive input device that reproduces the tactile behavior of a mechanical scroll wheel within a total assembly stack height of approximately 9.5 mm, making scroll-wheel functionality practical in ultraportable laptop keyboards for the first time. A mutual-capacitance touch strip is formed along the arc of a protruding disk segment rather than on a flat surface, giving the finger the same curved reference geometry as a physical wheel. However, this growth has collided with an insurmountable power and thermal wall: over 50% of datacenters face imminent facility-level power delivery and cooling exhaustion. Introduction: Small interfering RNA (siRNA) and Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated Protein 9 (Cas9) complexes are effective approaches to temporarily downregulate protein expression via post-transcription RNA interference or permanently altering protein expression via editing genomic DNA, respectively. However, the efficient delivery of these mediators to targeted cells has been challenging, largely due to their anionic and hydrophilic nature, which hinders their interaction with the cell membrane and cellular internalization. This study aims to describe and compare DeepL and ChatGPT translations of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale Rotkäppchen from German into Indonesian based on Nida and Taber’s principle of dynamic equivalence. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a comparative design. The data sources consist of the German text of Rotkäppchen from Kinder- und Hausmärchen (1857) and its translations produced by DeepL and ChatGPT. The analysis focuses on lexical, grammatical, semantic, pragmatic, and stylistic aspects while considering the preservation of meaning, context, target-language naturalness, and communicative effect. Fatty acid ionic liquids (FAILs) are a class of ionic liquids (ILs) with relatively low toxicity and potential applications in biological systems. This study examined the interactions of tetramethylguanidinium decanoate, tetramethylguanidinium octanoate, choline decanoate, and choline octanoate with lipid membranes, proteins, and nucleic acids. Membrane leakage experiments using model lipid vesicles showed that decanoate-based FAILs produced greater membrane permeabilization than octanoate-based analogues, consistent with their higher membrane permeability. These effects were stronger for the ILs than for decanoate alone and occurred below the critical micelle concentration (CMC), suggesting that micelle formation may not be essential for membrane disruption. Authors of scientific papers rely heavily on acronyms and often use them without defining them, making the literature harder to read and index. This thesis develops and evaluates a hybrid rule-based and large language model (LLM) framework that extracts acronym–definition pairs from scientific PDF documents. It extends an earlier Rowan University system that combined a regular-expression parser with a single LLM on 200 papers. That system showed that neither the parser nor the LLM alone is sufficient for accurate extraction of the pairs. The framework is a fully automated pipeline from PDF input to scored results. Problematic Technology Use (PTU) has emerged as a growing concern with technology’s continual integration into daily living. Individuals higher in schizotypy may be particularly vulnerable to the negative consequences of digital environments. The present study cross-sectionally examined associations among schizotypy, PTU, and quality of life (QOL) in 533 college students using structural equation modeling. Consistent with hypotheses, greater total schizotypy was associated with higher PTU and lower QOL. Additionally, positive, negative, and disorganized schizotypy all uniquely predicted poor QOL with the negative domain demonstrating the strongest standardized association. Relevant theories that guided this research included Bandura’s Social Learning Theory, Vygotsky’s Social Constructivist Theory, and Lankshear and Knobel’s New Literacies Theory. Throughout the six-week study, four third-grade students identified as below grade level participated in a collaborative reading intervention that focused on vocabulary development, fiction and informational text comprehension, student-led discussions, digital literacy activities, and reflective journaling. High-temperature superconducting (HTS) cables require dielectric insulation materials that can withstand cryogenic operating environments while maintaining electrical reliability, mechanical stability, and manufacturing compatibility. This thesis investigates polyamide-based polymer nanocomposites as candidate HTS cable insulation materials and develops cryogenic testing platforms for evaluating thin-film dielectrics at reduced temperatures. Two silicon-based filler systems are studied: sol-gel-derived silicon dioxide (SiO 2 ) nanoparticles and polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS). Dielectric breakdown behavior is evaluated under DC and AC high-potential testing, while mechanical behavior is assessed through tensile testing.
