The infotainment system is often considered one of the most functional and luxurious aspects of modern cars, containing functions that are useful to drivers in ways that range from convenient to safety-enhancing. However, modern infotainment systems can have some drawbacks such as making it more difficult to repair the vehicles they are in, helping to artificially limit the lifespan of the vehicles they are in, and not being present in most vehicles more than 15 years old. Significant Findings: LGBTQ+ youth experience significantly higher rates of substance use compared to their heterosexual and cisgender peers, often as a way to cope with systemic discrimination, family rejection, and a lack of culturally competent support (Marshal et al., 2008; Madireddy & Madireddy, 2022; Mallory, Brown, & Sears, 2019; The Trevor Project, 2022). This Essay explores whether it moves too easily from one to the other. In principle, Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) guarantees most private-sector employees the right to be free from employer interference when they band together in pursuit of shared interests. In practice, most workers—especially the “pre-organizational” workers who have no contact with a union—cannot use their Section 7 rights because they do not know they exist. In 2011, the National Labor Relations Board (the Board), the agency which administers the NLRA, promulgated a Rule requiring employers to post notice of workers’ rights. Although Black women launched an estimated 2.08 million businesses in 2023 (accounting for 14.8% of all women-owned firms), they remain significantly underrepresented among high-growth, well-capitalized enterprises. This paradox highlights the need for deeper examination of the structural and social factors that shape their entrepreneurial experiences and outcomes. Using an exploratory sequential mixed-methods approach, this study examined how network structure, networking behaviors, personal motivations, and social contexts influence entrepreneurial success among Black women founders. The qualitative phase revealed how faith, emotional labor, social isolation, and cultural values shaped participants’ definitions of success and approaches to entrepreneurship. This qualitative research study examines how foreign language (FL) instructors perceive Black students' use of African American Vernacular English (AAVE) in the classroom. Historically, negative connotations of AAVE have colored the perspectives of the general public and educators alike. This collective case study of FL instructors gathered in-depth data through semi-structured interview questions. These research findings have the potential to impact world language curriculums in America positively, particularly those tailored to students with home language backgrounds different from Standard American English (SAE). Attachment insecurity is a transdiagnostic vulnerability factor linked to a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties. Although early attachment patterns tend to be relatively stable, research indicates that attachment orientations can change over time, particularly in response to significant relational or therapeutic experiences. This systematic review examined 39 empirical studies published between 2000 and 2024 to determine whether engagement in psychotherapy is associated with changes in adult attachment security. Homelessness is a multi-layered worldwide issue, shaped by cultural, economic, and political factors. This qualitative case study compared two international non-profit organizations, Hope Haven in Paraguay and Safe Shelter Foundation in Finland, in their approaches to reducing homelessness. The research explores how institutional systems and sociocultural norms shape intervention by utilizing two theoretical frameworks, structural functionalism and social constructionism. The study included semi-structured interviews with twelve participants employed by the organizations, seven from Paraguay and five from Finland, and a review of archival program data. The interview and archival data were triangulated with deductive and inductive data analysis.

The purpose of this phenomenological study was to explore how the lived experiences of African American women community college chancellors contributed to their success as leaders. Three African American female community college chancellors participated in the study. Four themes emerged from the thick, rich descriptions provided through participant responses in semi-structured interviews. The four themes were encouragement, success, problem solver/leadership, and race/gender. This dissertation explored the scholarly literature and extracted important themes regarding the training and development of bilingual psychology trainees. The first theme was the language challenges bilingual trainees face due to their proficiency in Spanish when delivering services to Latinx limited English-speaking or monolingual Spanish-speaking clients when the trainee has received little or no training in Spanish. The second theme was bilingual supervision. When the trainee was matched with a supervisor who was not from the same culture or proficient in Spanish, many challenges occurred for the trainee and the supervisor. The sports organizations are the National Basketball Association (NBA) and their extended female league, the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). This mixed-methods study explored how young professionals in higher education experienced meaningful work and the relationship between meaningfulness and work engagement. Using the Job Characteristics Model (JCM), the study examined how skill variety, task identity, and task significance contributed to experienced meaningfulness and engagement. Thirteen full-time employees (ages 25-35) at U.S. four-year higher education institutions completed a survey and participated in semi-structured interviews. Quantitative findings revealed a strong correlation between overall meaningfulness and engagement.
