Educational Practices in Kinesiology

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasing within exercise-related professions, raising the question of whether college curricula for these professions should include AI education. This study aimed to evaluate current AI usage and to discover the priority of AI skills for hiring managers among exercise-related professionals. Section one of the questionnaire included questions about current use of AI within exercise-related professions (N = 65), and section two was specific to hiring managers and their position on AI skills as a hiring requirement (n = 32 completed this section). Fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC) is undergoing a paradigm shift from conventional 2-level qubits toward higher-dimensional d-level qudits (d = q = p m) and asymptotically efficient quantum Low-Density ParityCheck (qLDPC) codes. Non-binary qudits dramatically increase physical quantum information density and reduce cross-talk, while qLDPC codes achieve macroscopic code rates and distance with orders-of-magnitude fewer physical qubits than surface codes. Fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC) requires classical control processors to execute quantum error correction (QEC) syndrome decoding, Pauli frame updates, and pulse orchestration within microsecond-scale physical qubit coherence windows. Adversarial game-tree search—exemplified by classical zerosum games of perfect information such as Tic-Tac-Toe and Chess—represents a foundational benchmark for artificial intelligence and combinatorial optimization. However, executing recursive minimax algorithms with α-β pruning on generalpurpose von Neumann microprocessors suffers from crippling architectural bottlenecks: branch misprediction rates exceeding 30% during search cutoffs, serialized legal move generation, deep recursion stack thrashing, and high-latency memory stalls during transposition table lookups. Tiled manycore architectures established a modular paradigm that conquered the global wire-delay wall by decomposing monolithic processors into replicated, network-connected compute elements. Early academic prototypes, such as the MIT Raw microprocessor, and commercial implementations, including Tilera TILE64, TILEPro64, and Tile-Gx 100, proved the viability of pipelined scalar operand networks and 2D mesh on-chip interconnects. Transistor density continues to scale with advances in semiconductor manufacturing, but limits on threshold voltage scaling have brought classical Dennard power scaling to a permanent halt. The resulting technology-imposed “utilization wall” severely restricts the fraction of silicon that can be continuously operated at maximum performance, giving rise to the dark silicon phenomenon. Because reductions in per-operation energy translate directly into increased parallel throughput under fixed thermal envelopes, specialized and heterogeneous architectures have emerged as an imperative. As semiconductor technology scales deep into nanoscale dimensions (sub-65 nm), subthreshold leakage current threatens the viability of tiled spatial microprocessors. While spatial architectures—exemplified by the MIT/UCSD RAW processor—elegantly eliminate global wire delays and expose on-chip functional units, interconnects, and pins directly to software, their massive replication of execution resources results in substantial static power waste when application workloads exhibit spatial or temporal underutilization. This paper evaluates the technical, economic, and environmental feasibility of residential prosumer implementation in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the integration of photovoltaic (PV) generation and battery energy storage. A simulation‑based assessment was performed in HOMER Pro using a measured 12‑month household load profile with an average daily consumption of 11.25 kWh and a peak demand of 2.85 kW. Six system configurations were investigated, consisting of 3 kW, 4 kW, and 5 kW PV installations, each analyzed with and without a 5.04 kWh lithium‑ion battery, over a 25‑year project lifetime under a zero‑credit export scheme. Advances in machine learning for healthcare are abundant, yet most validated models remain confined to research notebooks and never reach secure, usable clinical software. This paper addresses that deployment gap by presenting a unified, security-hardened software platform that operationalizes two complementary streams of doctoral research inside a single, role-based hospital information system. The first stream contributes a clinical-prediction capability: an ultra-hybrid ensemble that couples a quantum-inspired feature transformation, particle-swarm feature selection, and calibrated soft voting for cancer-outcome prediction (96.41% accuracy, AUC-ROC 0.983 on TCGA-BRCA), survival stratification, multi-cancer generalization, and pharmacogenomic drug-response classification (89.31% mean accuracy across 25 compounds). This paper presents a dual-layered AI framework for real-time landslide risk assessment developed under the GeoNetSee project within the Interreg Danube Region Programme. The first layer employs a fuzzy logic model, inspired by the Slovenian MASPREM system, which integrates Landslide Susceptibility Maps (LSS) with high-resolution precipitation forecasts from the Open-Meteo API to generate a Predicted Landslide Hazard (PLSH) score on a 0–5 scale, updated every 6–12 hours. Fuzzy inference systems have demonstrated considerable promise for EEG-based cognitive state monitoring in neurodegenerative conditions. However, two design decisions significantly influence system performance and clinical applicability: the choice of inference architecture (Takagi-Sugeno vs Mamdani) and the method of rule and membership function generation (manual expert-driven vs data-driven automated). Background: Gingivitis is the earliest and most reversible stage of periodontal disease, characterized by inflammation of the gingiva caused by the accumulation of plaque. In addition to removing plaque, mouthwash containing antiseptic or anti-inflammatory could be used as an adjunct therapy.
Objectives: The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of a 0.10% standardized Centella asiatica extract (ECa 233) mouthwash compared to 0.12% chlorhexidine and placebo mouthwashes in individuals with gingivitis.

Background: Patients with congenital heart disease who have previously undergone right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) surgery frequently require repeat valve replacement later in life. While transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement (TPVR) offers less invasive reintervention compared with surgery, its high device cost raises concerns about affordability under Indonesia’s National Health Insurance Program (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional).

Background: Diphtheria remains endemic in parts of Thailand and continues to threaten unvaccinated populations. To strengthen vaccine self-sufficiency, the Government Pharmaceutical Organization has developed in-house diphtheria–tetanus–pertussis (DTP) and diphtheria– tetanus (dT) vaccines. Potency testing of diphtheria toxoid is traditionally performed in guinea pigs; however, limitations in animal availability, cost, and logistics have prompted evaluation of alternative models.
Objectives: To compare diphtheria toxoid potency estimates of in-houseproduced DTP and dT vaccines using guinea pigs and mice, followed by a Vero cell-based toxin neutralization assay, and to assess the suitability of mice as an alternative model for potency testing.
