Pentagonal Pdte2 Monolayer For Sustainable Solar-Driven Hydrogen Production, Narender Kumar, Shambhu Bhandari, Dario Alfè, Ravindra Pandey, Nacir Tit

This investigation demonstrates that the pentagonal PdTe2 (penta-PdTe2) monolayer is a highly tunable two-dimensional (2D) photocatalyst, characterized by the bandgap of 1.87 eV and high hole mobility. Using density functional theory calculations with the HSE06 functional, we show that tensile strain engineering (particularly at +2% and +3%) is essential for enabling spontaneous water splitting. At these strain values, the valence-band maximum and conduction-band maximum straddle the water redox potentials (H+/H2 and O2/H2O) under both acidic (pH = 0) and neutral (pH = 7) conditions. Background: Educational placement does not necessarily secure psychological well-being, reciprocal relationships, participation, or responsive support for students with special educational needs.

Objectives: This abstract-based narrative synthesis examined review materials describing a curated Scopus corpus of 110 records published between 2023 and 2026.

Methods: Forty records were presented in four thematic evidence matrices, while 70 supplied contextual material. Extraction was restricted to metadata, abstracts, and the available summary matrices; primary-study full texts were not systematically assessed, and no formal risk-of-bias assessment was performed. Evidence was organized around psychological resources, relational inclusion, educational supports, and institutional responsiveness.

Underwater Acoustic Networks (UANs) enable long-range communication for a range of applications. However, UANs are severely limited by scarce acoustic spectrum, which is shared with marine animals and can lead to disruptive interference, contributing to anthropogenic ocean noise. In addition, the underwater environment is highly dynamic, where: marine-animal presence is uncertain, channel conditions fluctuate, and Doppler effects degrade communication reliability. The study aims to identify the types of figurative language used and to understand the meanings they convey, particularly in depicting female dominance in romantic relationships. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method using Jan Renkema’s (2020) stylistic theory as its theoretical framework. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method and applies liberal feminist theory to examine the feminist elements in the film and their relationship to the portrayal of women.
