Calculus I courses play a pivotal role in shaping students' STEM pathways, making it essential to adopt pedagogies that foster both achievement and mathematics identity development, particularly among underserved groups such as Hispanic students. This study explores the impact of Specifications Grading, an alternative assessment method where students meet specific course learning objectives through multiple attempts, on students’ mathematics identity development. Through a comparative case study of two Calculus I students at a Hispanic-Serving Institution, one enrolled in a specification graded course and the other in a traditionally-graded course, we examine shifts in their self-perceptions of competence, interest, recognition in …

Bipolar disorder is a chronic disorder characterized by mood swings of mania and depression. Bipolar I is characterized by intense mania, while bipolar II is characterized by hypomania and depression. Currently, there is no cure for bipolar disorder; however, one mainstay of treatment is lithium, which is hypothesized to alleviate symptoms by reducing myo-inositol.

In this study, the effect of lithium on intracellular myo-inositol was determined in lymphoblasts derived from bipolar disorder patients and compared to that of lymphoblasts from a neurotypical individual. At 1mM lithium, the data showed increased myo-inositol levels across cell lines; however, the results were not …

BACKGROUND: Black people in the United States face persistent and increasing inequities in addiction treatment access and drug overdose death. Incorporating people with lived experience through community based participatory research (CBPR) approaches can improve understanding of drivers of and solutions to such inequities. However, practical and systemic challenges limit incorporating Black people with lived experience with substance use across each step of the research process. This paper describes the methods, recommendations, and lessons learned from a research team and Black-led community advisory board (CAB) working together across the research process to promote equity in harm reduction and addiction treatment.

Decapit8 provides a system and method for reformatting website content into structured, semantically rich "information cartridges" optimized specifically for machine consumption. It creates a "Robot Entrance" offering tiered summaries, semantic embeddings, knowledge graphs, and explicit reasoning pathways, enabling AI/ML systems to interact efficiently with websites without full re-crawling. This reduces computational overhead, improves agentic reasoning, and establishes a new machine-native web interaction paradigm.

This study investigated the Availability and Utilization of ICT services in Anambra State Academic Libraries. The study adopted the descriptive survey research design and was guided by two research questions and one null hypothesis. Two researcher-structured instruments were used to collect data for the research. The population of the study were the 75 library staff of the libraries under study, which include Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Library, Nwafor Orizu College of Education Library and Anambra State Polytechnic Mgbakwu Library.
