Introduction: Cardiac arrest during Caesarean section (CS) is a rare event, with an incidence of 1 in 9,200 [1]. We present a case of intraoperative cardiac arrest during an elective CS for a twin pregnancy. Case Presentation: A 40-year-old G4P3 female with dichorionic diamniotic twins and diet-controlled gestational diabetes was scheduled for an elective CS at 37 weeks of gestation. Combined spinal-epidural anesthesia was performed without complications. Intrathecal administration included 1.4 mL of 0.75% hyperbaric bupivacaine, 15 micrograms of fentanyl, and 150 micrograms of morphine, achieving a sensory block at the T4 level. This paper systematized existing knowledge on cybersecurity and privacy game-based approaches, exploring their goals, scope, and evaluation methods. Our review of 93 academic papers revealed that these approaches serve multiple purposes and target diverse player types. We identified 11 key aspects of cybersecurity and privacy that these approaches addressed, such as threats, defensive strategies, and data privacy. Additionally, we analyzed the effectiveness evaluation methods of these approaches, emphasizing the connections between evaluation techniques, types of data used, and their alignment with the approaches' goals. As bear populations increase in areas like the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE), human-bear interactions are rising, with grizzly bear encounters more than doubling in the past decade. To reduce conflicts, land management agencies promote Leave No Trace (LNT) behaviors, emphasizing bear awareness, proper food storage, maintaining distance from wildlife, and carrying bear spray. However, a survey of 566 visitors across the GYE found that 27% of respondents report never carrying bear spray. Non-carriers were often first-time visitors, traveling in larger groups, or day-use visitors to front-country areas. They also viewed the message to carry bear spray as less important than …

This paper addresses the stabilization and trajectory-tracking problems for two classes of weakly coupled electromechanical systems. To this end, we formulate an energy-based model for these systems within the port-Hamiltonian framework. Then, we employ Lyapunov theory and the notion of contractive systems to develop control approaches in the port-Hamiltonian framework. Remarkably, these control methods eliminate the need to solve partial differential equations or implement any change of coordinates and are endowed with a physical interpretation. Improved awareness of hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) among clinicians has led to an increase in its diagnosis. Often diagnosis is made based on the HLH- 2004 criteria. While these criteria have considerable strengths, they lack specificity and may be fulfilled in the setting of many pro-inflammatory disorders. Genetic defects affecting cellular cytotoxicity cause familial (primary) HLH. On the other hand, secondary HLH is more a pathophysiologic process common to many conditions, rather than a singular disease entity. This paper examines the U.S. foreign policy response to the 1954 Honduran General Strike, where nearly 15% of the workforce mobilized against the exploitative practices of the United Fruit Company (UFCO). What began as a labor dispute among dock workers on Honduras’ northern coast quickly escalated into a nationwide protest, drawing support from students, teachers, and artisans against the UFCO and the national oligarchic elite.
