The newest diagnosis approved for cardiac rehabilitation (CR) by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) was systolic heart failure with ejection fractions less than or equal to 35% in 2013. CMS did not approve diastolic heart failure as a diagnosis for CR as there has not been ample research done linking a possible benefit between the two. The purpose of this qualitative phenomenological study was to describe the experiences of moral injury and spiritual struggles among Christian adults from the Philadelphia tri-state area with a history of substance use or perceived problematic behaviors. Moral injury (MI) is newly studied in civilian populations. In a review of 253 studies on moral injury and substance use, only two qualitative studies explored exposure to morally injurious events amid substance use rather than as a pathway to substance use. The characterization of deformation twinning in magnesium alloys is evaluated with macroscale modeling to predict material behavior and microstructure evolution with Internal State Variables (ISVs). Twinning in magnesium presents key challenges with constitutive modeling at the macroscale where the large number of grains with individual slip/twin must be generalized. This research proposes the Kearns factor (Kearns, 1965) as a method for quantifying the crystallographic texture associated with twinning and shows how the change in Kearns factors is associated with tension-compression asymmetry, anisotropic yielding and hardening, and anisotropic lateral strains. Roundup is one of the most widely used glyphosate-based harmful herbicides in the United States as well as globally, which poses a severe risk for terrestrial and aquatic organisms. Cerebral palsy is the most prevalent motor disability in childhood, encompassing various movement disorders that affect walking. Researchers have described gait patterns in cerebral palsy, but these are often subjective and based on clinician experience. This study introduces an automated approach to objectively identify clinically meaningful biomechanical phenotypes in cerebral palsy and test it on multicenter gait data. Restoring the reading frame of dystrophin by removing internal out-of-frame exons may address symptoms of DMD. Introduction: Rare solid tumors account for one-quarter of cancers among adults in the United States, but few resources have been devoted to their treatment. We evaluated the efficacy of pembrolizumab, a programmed cell death-1 inhibitor, in patients with rare solid tumors.

Methods: We conducted a phase 2 basket trial that included patients with rare, advanced tumors. Patients were enrolled in the study in nine tumor-specific and a 10th cohort of miscellaneous rare histologies. Patients received pembrolizumab 200 mg intravenously every 21 days. Endoribonucleases initiate degradation by cleaving RNAs internally. Mutations in these enzymes have been shown to cause diseases such as cancer, developmental disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. Yet, eukaryotic endoribonucleases have not been well studied, especially with regard to their role in nuclear mRNA degradation. Rnt1 is a Saccharomyces cerevisiae (budding yeast) nuclear endoribonuclease and homolog of human Drosha with well-characterized roles in the processing of ncRNAs. The enzyme recognizes and cleaves double-stranded RNA stems containing a terminal tetraloop with an AGNN consensus sequence.
