Surfactants in soaps and detergents significantly impact the environment, altering the physicochemical properties of soil and water, which may harm aquatic and terrestrial organisms. This study investigated the physicochemical characteristics of selected soaps and their residue count. A total of eleven (11) different soaps, including commercialized and homemade variants, were tested in triplicates. Parameters such as pH, conductivity, salt concentration, and temperature were measured to assess their effects on water quality. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of mortality among women worldwide, highlighting the need for efficient histopathology-based screening methods for early diagnosis. This study introduces HistoDX, a deep learning framework to classify Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) using 277,524 histopathology image patches (50x50 pixels) from Paul Mooney’s IDC dataset on Kaggle, comprising No Cancer and IDC(+) classes. HistoDX employs a preprocessing pipeline with normalization, data augmentation, and class balancing via oversampling and weighted loss to address the class imbalance. Stroke is disruptive with elusive recovery and adjustment. Beyond traditional aspects of stroke rehabilitation, literature suggests adjustment to stroke should also include intervention with focus on resilience. A gap exists between conceptualization, theoretical models, and strategies for supporting resilience in persons with chronic ischemic stroke. Medical mistrust is an ongoing concern in the United States, with patient confidence in both individual practitioners and institutions decreasing sharply in recent years. Atlantic County, New Jersey has some of the worst health outcomes in the state and is below the national average. This study sought to investigate medical mistrust by recruiting participants to complete a survey and/or health screening at 12 food pantry distribution events throughout Atlantic County (N = 124).
