Objectives: The present study investigated the extent to which AI use and opinions about its use will vary by academic stage and academic task in ways that align with Budwig’s (2013) developmental stages.

Methods: We surveyed 1,259 students from different academic stages (first-year students, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students) at a highly selective private university in the United States.

Results: We found that all students desire institutional AI policies and are concerned about the negative consequences of AI use by themselves and others. There was some evidence of the use of AI in ways that might violate academic integrity. …

Cirrus cloud formation and evolution are subject to the influences of thermodynamic and dynamic conditions and aerosols. This study developed near global-scale in situ aircraft observational datasets based on 12 field campaigns that spanned from the polar regions to the tropics from 2008 to 2016. Cirrus cloud microphysical properties were investigated at temperatures ≤-40 °C, including ice water content (IWC), ice crystal number concentration (Ni), and number-weighted mean diameter (Di). Positive correlations were found between the fluctuations of these ice microphysical properties and the fluctuations of aerosol number concentrations for larger (>500 nm) and smaller (>100 nm) aerosols …

BACKGROUND: Chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) presents a major clinical challenge in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), requiring lower extremity revascularization (LER) to mitigate adverse cardiovascular and limb outcomes. Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)) has been implicated in cardiovascular risk, but its role in patients with T2DM and CLTI undergoing revascularization remains unclear. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the prognostic value of Lp(a) levels in diabetic CLTI patients for major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE), major adverse limb events (MALE), or both after LER.

Asynchronous text-based clinician communication-secure messaging-is rapidly becoming the preferred mode of communication. ولتحقيق هدف البحث وضعت الباحثة الفرضيات الصفرية الاتية:

1- لا يوجد فرق ذا دلالة احصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات الطلاب الذين درسوا وفق التعلم الخبراتي (المجموعة التجريبية) وبين الطلاب الذين درسوا نفس المادة بالطريقة الاعتيادية (ألمجموعة ألضابطة) في الاختبار التحصيلي.

هدف البحث إلى تحليل محتوى منهاج الرياضيات للصف الثامن من مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في سورية للعام الدراسي (2024-2025) في ضوء معايير التمثيل الرياضي.

اتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي، حيث استخدمت قائمة معايير التمثيل الرياضي الثلاثة الخاصة بالصفوف (6-9) وفق معايير المجلس الوطني لمعلمي الرياضيات(National Council of Teachers of Mathematics [NCTM], 2000)، بعد ترجمتها إلى اللغة العربية، وقامت الباحثة بكتابة مؤشرات هذه المعايير وبناء أداة تحليل محتوى وتحققت من خصائصها السيكومترية، شمل التحليل جميع دروس كتابي الجبر والهندسة، والذي تضمن 469 فقرة في كتاب الجبر و594 في كتاب الهندسة، وتوصل البحث إلى عدة نتائج، أهمها:

هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة ممارسة معلمي اللغة العربية لمهارات التذوق الجمالي أثناء تدريس النصوصِ الشعريّة من وجهةِ نظرهم. تكوّنت عينةُ الدراسةِ من (87) مُعلمًا ومُعلمة يَعملون في المدارسِ التابعةِ للواءِ ماركا بمحافظةِ عمّان. واعتمدتِ الدراسة على المنهجِ الوصفيّ المسحي، وتمّ تطويرُ أداةِ استبانة تضمنت (23) فقـرة موزعـة على ثلاثةِ مجالاتٍ رئيسيّة: (المفاهيمُ الأساسيّة للتذوقِ الجـمالي، الممارساتُ الفعليّة للتذوقِ الجماليّ، والأنشطةُ الداعمةُ للتذوقِ الجمـالي). وأظهرتِ النتائجُ أنّ درجةَ ممارسةِ معلميّ اللّغـة العربيّة لمهاراتِ التذوقِ الجماليّ أثناءَ تدريسِ النصوصِ الشعريّة كانت متوسـطة. كما كشـفت النتائج عن وجودِ فروقٍ ذات دلالةٍ إحصائيّة في مسـتوى ممارسةِ هـذه المهارات لصالحِ المعلمات، في حينِ لم …

Disclosed are sensors comprising electrodes, such as cutaneous electrodes. The electrodes comprise an ion gel superimposed on a host layer, such as poly(3,4- ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS). The ion gel is at least 30 percent crosslinked by weight with the remainder in liquid form. The ion gel is comprised of polymerizable/nonpolymerizable ionic liquid blend and a crosslinker, such as polyurethane dimethacrylate, urethane methacrylate oligomer, silicone acrylate, or acrylate. The present disclosure provides a method and a system for managing Invoice-on-Behalf (IoB) within open-loop transaction networks. The method comprises identifying a portable financial device enabled for IoB at a merchant system and generating an authorization request for an IoB transaction. The authorization request is then approved at an issuer system, followed by transmitting an authorization response back to the merchant system. At a Point-Of-Sale (POS) system associated with the merchant system, issuance of a VAT invoice is suppressed. Line-item data and tax data related to the transaction are transmitted, and the issuer system generates IoB documents at predetermined intervals …
