Background/aim: Childhood-onset arthritis may result from various rheumatic diseases. This study aimed to systematically evaluate their distribution and characteristics in a large pediatric cohort.

Materials and methods: We retrospectively analyzed all pediatric patients who presented with arthritis to the pediatric rheumatology clinic between January 2000 and January 2023.

Results: A total of 1713 pediatric patients who presented with arthritis were included in this study (median age at diagnosis: 6.8 years; F/M = 1.2). Background/aimː This study aims to investigate the prevalence of malignancy in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) followed up in a tertiary reference center.

Materials and methodsː IBD patients with at least 6 months of follow-up from the gastroenterology clinic between 2000 and 2022 wereevaluated retrospectively in a tertiary center. Patient information was obtained from the patient registration system.

Background/aim: The literature shows a link between hyperoxemia and poor outcomes, whereas this association remains unclear in hospital wards. This study aims to determine the incidence of hyperoxemia in hospital wards and its risk factors.

Materials and methods: Patients aged ≥ 18 years who underwent an evaluation by an intensivist between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2020, while receiving treatment in hospital wards, were included in the study following ethics committee approval. Patients with hypoxemia (partial pressure of oxygen [PaO2] < 60 mmHg), a condition related to Coronavirus disease 2019, a hospital stay < 1 day, or missing data were excluded. Materials and methods: In this multicenter, retrospective, cross-sectional study, data were collected from 9,587,592 healthy, voluntary donors who donated to the Turkish Red Crescent between 1998 and 2021. Donors met the criteria of being 18–70 years old, weighing over 50 kg, with hemoglobin levels above 13.5 g/dL for male and 12.5 g/dL for female. The current study explored how wellbeing is impacted in BIPOC cis-gender women with benign gynecological conditions by measuring the quality of the relationship. Autism spectrum disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by deficits in social communication, social interactions and restricted, repetitive and stereotyped patterns of behavior, interest or activities. These deficits hinder autistic children’s social and communicative skills. Peer-mediated interventions (PMIs) have been found effective in the development of communication, play and social skills in individuals with ASD. In PMIs typically developing children are trained to be peer models of socially acceptable behavior for children with ASD. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the United States’ safety net program, Medicaid, for low-income individuals affecting access to care, increasing enrollment, and requiring new approaches to care delivery. The literature shows that beneficiaries’ personal characteristics influence their healthcare experience. This study investigated the association between Medicaid beneficiary characteristics and experience with their Medicaid health plan, examined if COVID-19 negatively impacted experience, and tested if COVID-19 moderated the relationship between beneficiary characteristics and experience.
