Anticipatory Action Fulfillment In Conversational Agents Via Speculative Native-Audio Llms And Streaming Latent Diarization, Tamar Yakar, Ilia Labzovsky

Current voice-activated conversational agents rely on sequential, text-based processing pipelines that introduce latency and fail during mid-utterance interruptions. A computational architecture is disclosed that replaces traditional speech recognition pipelines with a streaming native-audio large language model. Acoustic tokens are processed directly to maintain a real-time computational graph of an acoustic trajectory. Streaming latent diarization is employed natively within the model to mathematically segregate intersecting vocal trajectories. Parallel isolated execution branches are dynamically created when biometric shifts are detected, allowing background noise to be masked. The present technical disclosure relates to a production unit and a corresponding method and process for producing synthesis gas at a selected carbon-intensity level, optionally while meeting a selected product specification. The synthesis gas production unit comprises an electrically heated reactor, preferably an electrically heated steam methane reforming reactor (e-SMR) or an electrically heated reverse water-gas shift reactor (e-RWGS), which is configured to receive multiple streams containing hydrogen, methane and carbon dioxide.

The hydrogen production plant comprises a first, low-pressure synthesis gas production section, which is favorable for hydrocarbon conversion to synthesis gas, and a subsequent, high-pressure hydrogen purification section, which is favorable for carbon dioxide removal and hydrogen purification.

The present technical disclosure relates to a plant and to a corresponding process for the operation and control of an electrically heated reverse water gas shift reactor, which is supplied with a carbon dioxide stream preferably originating from a biogas production unit and hydrogen stream preferably supplied by an electrolysis unit. The technical disclosure enables flexible operation in accordance with the time-dependent availability of carbon dioxide as a control parameter and allows alignment of electrical energy consumption with the availability of renewable electricity.

The technical disclosure enables flexible operation in accordance with the availability of electrical energy, in particular renewable electrical energy, and the temporal variations in the composition of a gaseous feed, in particular variations in methane concentration and calorific value of a biogas stream.

The present technical disclosure relates to a plant and to a corresponding process for the conversion of a biomass feedstock into methanol, wherein both methane and carbon dioxide contained in the biogas are utilized with a high degree of carbon efficiency. The plant integrates an electrically heated reformer and a carbon dioxide separation unit for the internal recycling and utilization of carbon dioxide, in particular by reintroducing at least a portion of separated carbon dioxide into the biogas production unit.

Because of its abundance in proteins, vital amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that promote balanced nutrition, Medicago sativa L., also known as alfalfa, is regarded as a nutritionally excellent forage crop. In addition to its nutritional value, alfalfa produces a range of bioactive secondary metabolites, including flavonoids, alkaloids, and phenolic acids, further supporting its use in medicinal and nutritional applications. Three alfalfa cultivars grown in Iraq were examined for gene expression levels of the primary genes involved in secondary metabolite biosynthesis (PAL, COMT, CHS, and OMT). Climate change in the Arctic is accelerating more rapidly than the rest of the globe, changing the disease ecology within arctic systems. A prime example of this are disease carrying mosquitoes (Family: Culicidae) expanding their range and overlapping with different animal hosts. Sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) is a shrub species native to the sagebrush steppe of western North America. Increasing drought and heat events, along with rising wildfire frequency, place significant stress on sagebrush populations and threaten their long‑term sustainability. Phenotypic plasticity, the ability of an individual plant to modify its physiology during its lifetime in response to environmental stress, may help certain sagebrush genotypes to better tolerate these changing conditions. Phenotypic plasticity does not involve genetic change, although stress triggered physiological modifications may be inherited through epigenetic processes. Epilepsy affects approximately 50 million people worldwide, yet more than half of individuals with a presumed genetic cause still lack a molecular diagnosis despite the identification of over 1,000 monogenic epilepsy genes. This diagnostic gap is unlikely to be resolved by improved variant detection alone, suggesting that variants affecting the same biological pathway may combine to cause disease. By studying epilepsy-associated actin regulatory genes, we identified a conserved "actin-mitochondria-glutamate (AMG) pathway". We demonstrate that reduced actin polymerization promotes DRP1-mediated mitochondrial fission, increases reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, and enhances glutamatergic transmission, leading to seizures. Developing An Understanding Of Concavity Built On Covariation, Jade E. Gregg

This study investigated how six students developed a quantitative understanding of concavity founded in covariational reasoning through a series of task-based teaching interviews. A key finding was the importance of multivariational reasoning--the coordination of more than two variables--in helping students reason deeply about concavity in context. Common difficulties, including confusion about negative rates and overreliance on visual representations, served as productive opportunities for learning when addressed through carefully designed tasks and discussions. The findings extend existing frameworks of covariational reasoning and highlight instructional approaches that can support students in developing a robust, quantity-based understanding of concavity.

Background: Climate anxiety, the emotional distress associated with awareness of climate change and its consequences, is an emerging mental health concern that may influence how nurses perceive and respond to climate-related health risks. Climate change is largely driven by emissions of greenhouse gases which radiate and absorb heat. Regulations proposed in March 2026 by the U.S. Department of Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service would provide guidance on enrollment for Trump Accounts. This Testimony presents a statement given on those proposals by Co-Director Jin Huang in a hearing before officials of the Treasury and IRS on July 16, 2026. In the statement, Huang discusses automatic enrollment and automatic deposits into Trump Accounts, state authority concerning enrollment provisions, and the exclusion of Trump Account assets from means tests in eligibility determinations for public benefits.
