Industrial and mining activities around Tomini Bay have significantly impacted marine ecosystems. This study aims to analyze the formulation process of the blue economy policy using an institutional approach, which includes the structure and process of decision-making, the role of key actors, and the impact of norms, rules, and regulations on the policy. In addition, this study evaluates the policy from a sustainable ecosystem perspective. Employing a qualitative approach combined with a research-action model, this study focuses on collaboration between researchers and stakeholders to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement practical changes. A Civic Resignation?: Generational Reactions To Government Data Breaches In Indonesia, Irnasya S. Hadi

BISNIS & BIROKRASI: Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi dan Organisasi

This paper examines how different generations in Indonesia perceive and respond to government data breaches, a recurring phenomenon that undermines trust in state-led digital governance. Using a mixed-methods design, it draws on interviews with civil society organisations, focus groups, and a survey of 1,081 respondents across Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z. Findings show that distrust in the government’s ability to protect personal data is widespread, but generationally stratified. Baby Boomers and Generation X largely treat breaches as bureaucratic inevitabilities, exhibiting high resignation and minimal engagement. In contrast, Millennials and Generation Z show stronger concern, digital literacy, and …

Cyber operations are thought to be one of IHL’s main challenges. This research examines cyber operations in armed conflicts, focusing on the following legal issues such as the definition of combatants and military objectives, attribution and responsibility, and the protection of civilians and civilian objects. This paper will contribute to the legal discourse on cyber threats, which will uniform future multilateral conventions regulating cyber warfare. Metabolic syndrome, characterised by hyperglycaemia, dyslipi-daemia, hypertension, and central obesity, is a global health problem, and exposure to pesticides is an important risk factor for agricultural workers. This study aims to analyse the effects of pesticide exposure, sociodemographic factors, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage behaviour on glucose levels, HDL, and LDL in farmers in Kubu Raya District, West Kalimantan. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 60 farmers selected using stratified random sampling. Objectives: The incidence of acute pancreatitis (AP) in the paediatric population has increased over the past two decades, with an estimated annual rate of 0.78 per 100,000 children. This study aimed to describe the risk factors and characteristics of AP in Omani children. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted, including all children <14 years who were admitted and treated with AP at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in Muscat, Oman, from January 2010 to December 2020. Case presentations, aetiology, management, and outcomes were reviewed. Results: During the 11-year study period, 55 cases were identified (male: female, 1.2:1). The most frequently reported risk factors were toxic/metabolic (49.1%). Abdominal pain was the predominant symptom (76.4%). Conservative treatment was administered in 74.5% of cases, while the remaining patients required surgery or endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. …

Small business owners who emphasize wealth creation to the detriment of sustainability may experience negative business outcomes. Small insurance agency owners are concerned because agency sustainability is a key to creating value for all stakeholder groups. Grounded in the stakeholder theory, the purpose of this qualitative pragmatic inquiry was to explore strategies that some owners of small insurance agencies in the financial services industry use to create value for different stakeholder groups in order to remain sustainable in an evolving business environment. Multispectral image classification plays a crucial role in remote sensing applications such as land cover mapping, agricultural monitoring, and environmental surveillance. Traditional classification techniques, including the Maximum Likelihood Classifier (MLC), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree (DT), and Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), often struggle with the complexity and high dimensionality of multispectral data. BACKGROUND: Epigenetic modifications such as DNA methylation play a critical role in hypoxic cell programs. However, no previous studies have investigated the epigenetic regulation of gene expression in peripheral artery disease (PAD), a condition characterized by intermittent ischemia. Our study aims to examine how PAD affects the DNA methylome in skeletal muscle of patients with PAD with intermittent claudication or critical limb ischemia compared with non-PAD controls. Trombidium grandissimum is also known by names, red velvet mite, real velvet mite, giant red velvet mite and rain bug, belongs to the family Trombidiidae and subclass Acari. Red velvet mite has four life stages: egg, larva, nymph, and adult. Adult red velvet mites were collected from agricultural farm area of Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology. Important taxonomic features were revealed by morphological study, including a body length of around half of an inch, velvety, unridged skin with dense hairs, stalked eyes, and specialized organs on the anterior legs including sensilla and claws. Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease caused by the gram-negative, intracellular bacterium Brucella. Although it is endemic in Pakistan, comprehensive data on its prevalence, risk factors, and diagnostic accuracy remain limited. Therefore, this study aimed to assess these parameters in local communities of District Dir Upper, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. A total of 345 individuals suspected of brucellosis were investigated. Blood samples and structured questionnaires were collected to determine prevalence and identify associated risk factors. Phenology is the study of the time series of biological phenomena of plants, such as flowering, fruiting, and leaflessness, related to seasonal change. Ethiopia is rich in vascular plant species. However, the tree phenology of selected species has been less studied. Therefore, the study aimed to document the phenology of nine native tree species in the Gera moist Afromontane forest in southwest Ethiopia. Hypotrichosis is a hereditary hair development condition that results in thin or little hair on the head and other regions of the body due to diminished or non-existent hair growth. To investigate the prevalence rate, the mechanism of inheritance, and the genetic counselling of people affected by these conditions. To determine the number of cases of familial hypotrichosis, a survey was done at various schools, colleges, hospitals, and communities to identify those affected by this ailment.
