Detection Of Sweet Potato Feathery Mottle Virus Infection Via Remote Hyperspectral Imaging, Clayton Blake

In sweetpotato, global production exceeds 90 million tons annually, yet yields are threatened by numerous pathogens, including the potyvirus sweet potato feathery mottle virus (SPFMV). Virus infections can reduce yields by 25–40%, but surveillance is hampered by asymptomatic infections and the labor-intensive nature of detection. Hyperspectral imaging (HSI), combined with machine learning (ML), offers a promising pathway to scalable, non-destructive detection; however, studies focused on virus infection in sweetpotato remain limited.

Background: Children and youth often have challenges processing and integrating sensory information. These increasingly common challenges and can significantly impact development, learning, behavior, well-being, and participation in everyday activities. Since children with sensory integration challenges, with or without other concerns, are likely to present first to their primary care provider (PCP), it is important that they have resources about sensory integration challenges and their impact on the child or the need to refer these children for further assessment and intervention. The toponym Salingsingan is observed in several inscriptions spanning the period 791-836 Śaka (869-914 CE), through the reigns of King Lokapāla until King Daksa. Its occurrences are attributed to an area where a religious foundation was established. From these occurrences, we see several interesting topics to explore regarding the sīma institution, religious foundations (dharma), and the toponymy of early Central Java. The prevalence of depression has increased throughout the 21st century. Recent evidence has suggested that depression may be linked with changes in bone health. In this descriptive study, we sought to evaluate the connection between depression and bone fractures to increase awareness and enable possible improvement in the prevention of bone fractures in medically underserved areas such as the Rio Grande Valley (RGV). This research proposes tectonic ecology as the framework for understanding the impermanence of architecture, challenging the views of permanence in architecture and positioning impermanence as an ecological building practice. This study explores the idea of impermanence in vernacular architecture as a living spatial practice, acknowledging the growth, decay, and regeneration taking place in such a context. Research Aims: This study examines the influence of supervisor incivility on hotel employees’ productivity and turnover intention, and further investigates the mediating role of ego depletion in these relationships.

Design/Methodology/Approach: Participants were hotel employees (N = 300) who were selected using snowball sampling. A predictive research design and partial least-squares path modelling were used to gauge the propositions of the study.

Research Findings: The results indicate that supervisor incivility has a significant impact on ego depletion, employee productivity, and turnover intention. Ego depletion was found to have a substantial effect on both employee productivity and turnover intention, and served as …

Research Aims: This study investigates the influence of psychological traits, risk tolerance, trust propensity, and AI literacy on trust in robo-advisors and subsequent financial behaviour within Indonesia’s expanding fintech landscape.

Design/Methodology/Approach: Data were collected through a survey of 235 Indonesian users with prior robo-advisor experience, and the hypotheses were tested using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM).

Research Findings: The results revealed that risk tolerance, trust propensity, and AI literacy significantly predicted financial behaviour, both directly and indirectly, through their positive effects on trust in AI. Methods: This longitudinal observational study included male and female college students attended teaching dentistry clinics in Baghdad, Iraq. The study took place between November 2023 and May 2024. This speculative design study aims to construct the idea of nothingness as an active and generative element of architecture. Nothingness, understood as voids, empty, and negative spaces, can be reinterpreted as a productive condition that opens up new spatial possibilities. Such a productive condition demonstrates the interdependence between nothingness and the spatial existence of something. The project explores how nothingness constructs the perceptibility of particular spatial terrain through void as architectural design operations. In Spence v. American Airlines, Inc., the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas found that American Airlines breached its fiduciary duties due to BlackRock’s ESG investing practices. Contrary to some reports suggesting that the ruling prohibits ESG investing under ERISA, a closer look at the ruling shows that the court only targeted American Airlines’ failure to manage conflicts of interest appropriately, rather than the legality of ESG investing itself. In light of the intensifying ESG backlash in the United States, this Article cautions against further restrictive measures on ESG investing. Such measures would exacerbate the widening …
