Rapid Detection Of 3,4-Dihydroxyphenylethanol By Ultraviolet Spectrophotometry Based On Fe3+ Coordination Modulation, Zhou Junhan, Zheng Jianxian, Sun Lu

[Objective] To address the limitation of spectral overlap interference in the rapid detection of 3, 4-dihydroxyphenylethanol (DHPET) within the 4-hydroxyphenethyl alcohol (HPET) catalytic system using traditional ultraviolet spectrophotometry. [Methods] To overcome the insufficient specificity of existing methods, a rapid spectrophotometric detection method based on Fe3+ coordination modulation was proposed. Through bidentate chelation between Fe3+ and the catechol group of DHPET, the characteristic absorption spectrum was induced to undergo a bathochromic shift to 760 nm, significantly distinguishing it from the weak coordination response of monophenolic compounds. [Objective] To study the effects of euglena extract on the anti-fatigue and antioxidant free radical levels in mice, and to explore its specific mechanism. [Methods] A total of 40 healthy adult male Kunming mice are randomly divided into a control group (normal saline is used instead of injection to establish fatigue mice models), a low dose group (euglena extract 0.25 g/kg BW), a medium dose group (euglena extract 0.5 g/kg BW), and a high dose group (euglena extract 1.5 g/kg BW). This presentation explores creative practice as research through an innovative approach to musical improvisation that challenges traditional boundaries between music and literature. Working with experienced improvising musicians, this study investigates how poetic texts serve as catalysts for new creative processes and musical outcomes.

The methodology involved musicians responding improvisationally to recorded poetry narrations, followed by reflective discussion and re-improvisation, extending Hannan's concept of 'comprovisation' while maintaining complete musical agency. Significantly, the final creative works present only the improvised music, requiring audiences to read poems independently and construct their own text-music relationships.

• MASLD affects up to 40% of the population in North America and is increasing.
• Screening for advanced fibrosis is now widely recommended, including formal guidelines from the AGA, AASLD, and ADA.
• We implemented an automated Fibrosis-4 (FIB-4) Index for liver fibrosis screening as a tool within our electronic medical record (EMR) to increase screening in patients with risk factors for MASLD.
• Our study examines the impact of this intervention on the appropriate MASLD screening rates among 50–65- year-old patients in the primary care clinic.

Climate change intensifies existing inequities, disproportionately impacting marginalised populations, particularly in the Global South and Indigenous communities. This is maintained through inequitable global climate governance, policies and solutions. The paper argues that climate coloniality, the complex entanglements of colonial legacies with contemporary climate and ecological changes, operates through systemic knowledge-based marginalisation or epistemic injustice, serving as a key mechanism in the uneven production and distribution of climate harms. Beyond the more commonly discussed material dimensions of loss and damage, epistemic injustices arise from silencing critical voices and devaluing knowledge systems. Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), widely used as an insulating gas in the power industry, decomposes during long-term operation into byproducts such as H2S, SO2, SO2F2, and SOF2. Reliable detection of these compounds is essential, since their type and concentration provide diagnostic signatures of faults in gas-insulated switchgear. We employ density functional theory combined with nonequilibrium Green’s function calculations to evaluate pristine two-dimensional carbon allotropes with nonhexagonal rings, namely Graphene+, T-graphene, and Biphenylene, as potential field-effect nanosensors. The landlord was permitted to amend the petition to include Good Cause Eviction Law (GCEL) small landlord exemption information required by RPL § 214(1), as such pleading defects are amendable. The tenant's motion for leave to file an answer was largely granted, and limited discovery was ordered regarding the landlord's claimed exemption and the tenant's harassment counterclaims, while overly broad discovery demands were stricken.

REV-ERB nuclear receptors are integrated into the molecular circadian clock present in most mammalian cells. Loss of REV-ERBs (REV-ERB DKO) within the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) in vivo leads to a marked shortening of the circadian period, but it remains unclear whether REV-ERB regulation of circadian period is tissue autonomous, if it is conserved across tissues, and how it is established. Here, we show that period shortening in the absence of REV-ERBs is tissue autonomous, is consistent between brain and liver, and is brought about through derepression of clock transcription factors NPAS2 and CLOCK. Collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) specify the contractual rights of unionized workers, but their full legal content has not yet been analyzed by economists. This paper develops novel natural language methods to analyze the empirical determinants and economic value of these rights using a new collection of 30,000 CBAs from Canada in the period 1986-2015. We parse legally binding rights (e.g., “workers shall receive. . . ”) and obligations (e.g., “the employer shall provide. . . ”) from contract text, and validate our measures through evaluation of clause pairs and comparison to firm surveys on HR practices. Nanostructured Ba0.9Ca0.1Ti0.9Zr0.1O3 (BCTZO) ceramics with varying contents of reduced graphene oxide (rGO, 0 ~ 1 wt.%) were synthesized via the solid-state method to explore their structural, dielectric, and electrochemical properties. X-ray diffraction confirmed the formation of a single-phase tetragonal perovskite structure for all compositions. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) revealed uniformly distributed grains (100 ~ 150 nm), with rGO addition influencing grain growth initially promoting coarsening at low loadings and suppressing it at higher concentrations due to grain boundary pinning. Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) verified the elemental composition, and Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy confirmed the metal–oxygen bonding of the …
