This investigation explores the influence of substrate temperature on the photodetection characteristics of indium-doped cadmium selenide (In:CdSe) thin films, addressing a critical gap in understanding how deposition parameters affect the optoelectronic properties of these materials. The study systematically analyzes the effects of substrate temperatures ranging from 30 °C to 250 °C on thermally evaporated In:CdSe films through comprehensive structural and morphological characterization. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) analyses reveal enhanced crystallinity and well-defined nanostructured surface morphology up to 100 °C, with distinct nanorod formations emerging at 200 °C. Kaffir lime peel waste (Citrus hystrix) has antioxidant effects that have the potential to protect the skin from exposure to UV-A and UV-B rays, as well as moisturize the skin. This study aims to determine the effect of increasing the concentration of condensed extract of kaffir lime fruit peel on its effectiveness as an antioxidant, sunscreen activity, and moisturizer. The condensed extract was obtained by maceration using 96% ethanol. In this study, we tested hydrophilic gels consisting of 4 extract concentrations in their formula: F1 (7.5%), F2 (10%), F3 (15%), and F4 (20%). The research phase begins with …

Introduction: Intervention adaptation is likely to occur to some extent when implementing interventions in new implementation contexts. Using systematic frameworks can guide intentional and effective adaptation processes. Intervention Mapping for Adaptation (IM-ADAPT) is a framework that offers step-by-step guidance for systematic, theory-based intervention adaptation. Despite the increasing use of IM-ADAPT, there is limited understanding of the contexts in which it has been applied and how effectively it is used and reported. Addressing this knowledge gap can improve current adaptation practices and inform future enhancements of the IM-ADAPT framework and the broader science of intervention adaptation. Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder characterized by recurrent seizures that affect over 50 million people worldwide, including more than 3.5 million in the United States. Seizures arise from a disrupted balance between excitation and inhibition. Although antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) remain the primary treatment to restore the excitation and inhibition balance, approximately 30% of patients experience drug-resistant epilepsy, highlighting the need for additional antiseizure medications. The Caenorhabditis elegans electroshock assay was developed in relative alignment with the rodent maximal electroshock seizure (MES) test, the gold standard for preclinical AED screening, provides a cost-effective platform for prescreening candidate AEDs.
