Speculative decoding accelerates inference in large language models (LLMs) by generating multiple draft tokens simultaneously. However, existing methods often struggle with token misalignment between the training and decoding phases, limiting their performance. To address this, we propose GRIFFIN, a novel framework that incorporates a token-alignable training strategy and a token-alignable draft model to mitigate misalignment. The training strategy employs a loss masking mechanism to exclude highly misaligned tokens during training, preventing them from negatively impacting the draft model’s optimization. Spreadsheets are widely used for data analysis and reporting, yet their complex structure and formula logic pose significant challenges for AI systems. We introduce Sheetpedia, a large-scale corpus of over 290,000 diverse spreadsheets (from 324,000+ workbooks) compiled from enterprise email archives and online forums. We detail a rigorous collection and preprocessing pipeline (integrating the Enron email spreadsheet archive and the Fuse web corpus, plus a new crawl of Excel forums) to standardize formats, filter languages, and remove duplicates. Multilingual reasoning remains a significant challenge for large language models (LLMs), with performance disproportionately favoring high-resource languages. Drawing inspiration from cognitive neuroscience, which suggests that human reasoning functions largely independently of language processing, we hypothesize that LLMs similarly encode reasoning and language as separable components that can be disentangled to enhance multilingual reasoning. To evaluate this, we perform a causal intervention by ablating language-specific representations at inference time. Experiments on 10 open-weight LLMs spanning 11 typologically diverse languages show that this language-specific ablation consistently boosts multilingual reasoning performance. Introducing construction concepts to young students requires tools that are both engaging and easy to use, which led to the development of a laser-cut building kit designed for K–8 classrooms. The process began with hand-drawn sketches to establish a simple, age-appropriate structure. The design was then modeled in AutoCAD, where each individual component was drafted for fabrication. After completing the digital model, the files were transferred into Rhino and organized by layer to ensure accurate communication with the laser cutters used to produce the final basswood pieces. This paper studies trust, reciprocity, and bargaining using a large-scale online experiment conducted in six Latin American countries. Participants played trust and ultimatum games under randomly assigned conditions in which the gender of their counterpart was either disclosed or withheld. On average, disclosing counterpart gender does not yield statistically detectable effects in either game. However, statistically significant differences emerge by participants' own gender: on average men exhibit higher levels of trust, reciprocity, and generosity in bargaining than women. School-wide positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) is a widely adopted multi-tiered system of behavioral supports designed to promote a safe, predictable, and inclusive school environment for all students. Despite the positive outcomes associated with PBIS, students with extensive support needs (ESN) may have limited access to and involvement in all aspects of PBIS. This dissertation details the design, development, and synthesis of a molybdenum-dioxo complex bearing a trispyrazolylborate ligand. The system was tested for its efficiency as a catalyst for deoxydehydration with a small substrate scope. Deoxydehydration reactions with 1-phenyl-1,2-ethanediol, diethytartrate, and 1,2-octanediol show low yields with catalytic turnover only found for diethyltartrate. Electrochemical studies show well behaved PCET behavior with two distinct electron transfer events in the presence of a proton donor. One hundred and fourteen calves (average BW= 224kg ± 89kg) were utilized to evaluate the effects of injectable trace mineral (ITM) administration on calf performance and health when administered pre-weaning and at weaning. Calves were blocked by sex, stratified by age, and randomly assigned to one of the following treatment groups: 1) no ITM injection (CON), 2) ITM administered 28 d before weaning (PW), or 3) ITM administration at weaning (WEAN). Moving beyond surface narratives of evangelization and exploration, it interrogates the sombras and silencios implanted in the Jesuit chronicle. Background: The efficacy of resection in IDH-mutant grade 2 gliomas remain controversial since terminology for the extent of resection has been inconsistently applied across studies. The soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1 (sFlt-1) and placental growth factor (PlGF) ratio shows promise as a diagnostic tool, but its adoption in the U.S. remains limited due to the lack of accessible testing platforms, U.S.-based studies, and evidence-based implementation guidelines.

Unstable pelvic ring injuries represent a challenge due to the complex anatomy. Further, surgical access to the pelvic ring is altered by patient positioning in the supine versus prone position. Certain injury patterns present with the posterior pelvis in a fixed displaced position. These injuries can be exceedingly challenging to reduce from a supine position. Whipple disease is a rare systemic disease caused by Tropheryma whipplei. It can present with a wide range of nonspecific symptoms that might overlap with underlying medical conditions, posing a diagnostic challenge. We present a 61-year-old man with a past medical history of rheumatoid arthritis and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, who presented with persistent leukocytosis and supraclavicular lymphadenopathy. A positron emission tomography scan revealed hypermetabolic activity in the supraclavicular, abdominal, and pelvic lymph nodes along with a myocardial hypermetabolic lesion, concerning a lymphoproliferative disorder versus sarcoidosis. Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by fibrosis, vascular dysfunction, and immune dysregulation, leading to significant morbidity and mortality. Noninvasive imaging techniques are critical for monitoring disease progression and evaluating therapeutic interventions. This study investigates the technical feasibility of multifunctional optical coherence tomography (OCT)-based methods for longitudinal assessment of skin thickness, stiffness, and microvasculature in a murine SSc model as a translational, noninvasive, and quantitative method to study disease progression and treatment response. Objective: We used data from the placebo arm of the Safety and Efficacy of Nintedanib in Systemic Sclerosis (SENSCIS) trial to determine the prognostic/predictive significance of peripheral blood cell (PBC) transcript modules for the course of forced vital capacity (FVC) in patients with systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease (SSc-ILD) with and without mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) treatment.

Methods: Patients had SSc-ILD with first non-Raynaud symptom within 7 years. MMF treatment was permitted if taken at a stable dose for ≥6 months. PBC RNA samples were taken at baseline. Global RNA sequencing was performed, followed by a modular analysis using 62 curated …
