In this article, we consider a multi server Markovian queueing system with working vacation. During busy period, the arrival and service completion are generated by K distinct randomly varying environments. At a service completion epoch, if no customer in the system, the servers take vacation, the vacation policy is multiple vacation policy and the vacation period follows negative exponential distribution. In addition, during vacation period the servers serve customers if they arrive. Based on the vacation termination point we define two Models. This paper provides a considerably efficient numerical approach to acquire the solutions of a biomathematical model administrating oral and intravenous distribution of pharmaceuticals in the human body. Utah State University Extension conducted a needs assessment in the Tri-County area of Utah, encompassing Uintah, Duchesne, and Daggett Counties, to identify key community priorities. Using a three-phased approach, the assessment identified mental health, strengthening relationships, and financial literacy as top concerns. These findings will inform resource allocation to Extension programming to address the region’s most urgent needs.

The Utah State University Extension TriCounty Vaccine Improvement Program addressed low rural vaccination rates across a three-county area through bilingual social media campaigns, health fairs, training in motivational interviewing, and neuromarketing. Evaluation results showed improved skills, broad community reach, and positive participant feedback, demonstrating a replicable model to reduce vaccine hesitancy and strengthen rural health systems.

Outcomes and Impact Quarterly
Youth mental health and teen suicide prevention are among the highest needs in Utah communities. The Teens Lifting Teens (TLT) pilot program seeks to equip Youth Councils with resources and education through training, near-peer mentoring, and service-learning opportunities to build protective factors among teens. Evaluation results showed that TLT youth exposure to near-peer mentoring and service-learning opportunities positively impacted their lives.

This evaluation found that among patients who experienced eosinophilia, only one exhibited signs of hypersensitivity, while seven required a change in therapy. This indicates that while eosinophilia is a concern, its direct clinical impact may be limited for the majority of patients. In the cohort experiencing elevated LFTs including AST, ALT, or alkaline phosphatase levels, fewer than 2% necessitated a change in therapy. This low rate suggests that routine LFT monitoring may not always correlate with significant clinical decisions, raising questions about the necessity of frequent lab draws.

This paper proposes a sample-wise triple-parametric deep learning framework (TPDLF) for 2D curve parameterization. The proposed framework integrates Bézier, B-spline, and Non-Uniform Rational B-spline (NURBS) curve formulations within a unified neural network architecture, enabling the reconstruction of smooth and closed 2D curves such as real-world airfoil and synthetic Superformula shapes (with -fold symmetry). An encoder compresses the input curve shape into a latent space, while three distinct decoders untangle the latent space by inferring corresponding governing parameters for each parameterization (i.e., Bézier/B-spline/NURBS). Background: Physical activity (PA) engagement in youth is associated with numerous health benefits. However, youth PA behaviors are influenced by a complex set of factors including school and community environments and broader societal influences. Rec-ConnectTM is a community-based intervention that aims to impact PA behavior in youth. Purpose: To assess changes in youth PA behavior across multiple years of Rec-ConnectTM implementation. Names serve as primary anchors of identity, carrying histories, cultural markers, and personal significance. Yet individuals with non-Western names frequently encounter mispronunciation, abbreviation, or simplification— practices that subtly diminish or erase aspects of identity. This article employs an autoethnographic lens to explore the complex terrain of naming across personal and professional contexts. Drawing on lived experience from India to the U.S.–Mexico border, the essay examines the emotional and social labor associated with names, the negotiation of linguistic difference, and the ethical imperative of respectful pronunciation. Recent advances in large language models (LLMs) and multimodal large language models (MLLMs) enable natural language–based querying in virtual reality (VR). However, VR environments are highly localized, personalized, and dynamic, making it challenging for general-purpose models to answer environment-specific queries or reason about subtle object state changes. To address these challenges, this thesis develops two systems for 3D question answering in VR.

Datasets from around the world suggest that people completed early monumental construction projects without long-term structures of hierarchy or authority. In the Maya area, some of the first monuments produced by semisedentary societies, such as those at Yaxuna and Ceibal, were built in the absence of substantial social inequality. The focus of these monuments was a relatively inclusive plaza. This article presents evidence of an eighth-century BC monumental construction at Ucí, another site that was probably not fully sedentary. The purpose of this study was to compare the loading rates of shod and unshod conditions in treadmill walking. It was hypothesized that walking barefoot would demonstrate higher loading rates than walking with shoes. It was also hypothesized that walking barefoot on a treadmill would result in greater stride-to-stride variability than walking with shoes. Sixteen healthy adult females volunteered and provided their consent to participate in this study. Gastronomic offerings are key components of travel and destinations. However, scant research has focused on how gastronomic offerings are projected to tourists. Using signaling theory as a framework, this study investigated the presence of gastronomic offerings in 25,231 promotional photos to assess how the pictures represented the food offerings at resorts in five countries. Data were gathered from the brochures published by two leading tour operators in the European market, “TUI” and “Thomas Cook.” The results of content analysis showed that gastronomic offerings were often secondary to cultural and natural assets in brochures. The Middle Pennsylvanian, Langsettian sub-stage Clintwood coal, along with its correlatives, was one of the more important energy resources in eastern Kentucky. The coal thickens from the NE-SW-trending Belfry anticline in central Pike County to the southeast, towards the Virginia-Kentucky border. Much of the thickness increase is in the bright lithotypes below a dull lithology. The bright lithologies transition from a bright clarain + vitrain + fusain lithology to a clarain + fusain lithology to the southeast. This thesis explores the cultural influence of historical events on English-language fiction published between 1820 and 1929. Using a corpus of 30,256 digitized books from Project Gutenberg, Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling was applied to identify recurring themes across eleven decades. The study sought to determine whether historically significant events could be detected within fictional narratives. One clear instance emerged: Napoleon Bonaparte and the Napoleonic Wars appeared explicitly in the 1820s corpus. Beyond this, several thematic patterns were observed—such as maritime language in the 1840s, national identity in the 1880s, and youth-oriented dialogue in the early 20th century—that plausibly …

The endometrium is a vital mucosal tissue which undergoes cyclical regeneration, differentiation, and remodeling upon hormonal, cellular, and molecular signaling networks. Dysregulation of these processes can trigger a range of pathological conditions including chronic inflammatory disorders, hyperplastic lesions, malignancies, and infertility, necessitating the need for effective therapeutic interventions. Furthermore, we are still dependent on conventional treatment modalities which are often constrained by inefficient drug biodistribution, systemic toxicity, and emergence of therapeutic resistance. While chronic pain is challenging to manage, it always co-exists with depression. Currently, chronic pain and depression are usually treated separately with distinct approaches, yet effectiveness remains elusive. Consequently, the development of integrated therapeutic strategies for pain while addressing depression is a high public health priority and unmet need that affects millions of people. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental condition characterized by persistent deficits in social communication and interaction, as well as restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities. Background: Recovering from anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction can be challenging. While standard rehabilitation helps restore knee function, many patients still face a slow or incomplete recovery. Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) has recently gained attention as a potential way to speed up healing and improve outcomes when added to traditional rehab.
Aim: To explore whether combining ESWT with standard postoperative rehabilitation truly leads to better recovery compared with rehab alone.

Modern diction pedagogy in university vocal performance education largely depends on a combination of International Phonetic Alphabet transcription study and the application of those systems to Western-Classical vocal repertoire. Biomass gasification is an established and widely utilized renewable energy system. The research work aims to develop and construct a downdraft gasifier to investigate gasifier performance. The gasifier’s performance and cold gas efficiency were calculated for three volumetric airflow rates: 7.16 m3/h, 5.97 m3/h, and 4.78 m3/h. The efficiency was found maximum of 69.6% for an airflow rate of 7.16 m3/h. The oxidation zone and neck region of the gasifier reactor had the maximum recorded temperatures of 845 °C and 823 °C for Swietenia macrophylla (SM) and Mangifera indica (MI), respectively. Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is transforming various sectors, including healthcare, offering both promising opportunities and notable risks. The infancy and rapid development of GenAI raises questions regarding its effective, safe, and ethical use by health professionals, including clinical exercise physiologists. This narrative review aims to explore existing interdisciplinary literature and summarise the ethical and practical considerations of integrating GenAI into clinical exercise physiology practice.
