Current information available to athletes comes largely from non-professional or industry sources and lacks an evidence-based foundation. This project aims to address that gap by developing a nutrition protocol tailored specifically for professional pickleball players. The approach synthesizes data from pickleball workload studies, racket-sport physiology, and established sports nutrition consensus statements. Key focus areas include fueling strategies, protein distribution for recovery, hydration and sodium planning, heat acclimation and cooling practices, travel and jet-lag management, altitude considerations, and evidence-based supplementation. In this post-foreclosure holdover case involving an unregulated tenancy, the court granted the tenant's motion to dismiss the petition. The landlord, a limited liability company (LLC), failed to comply with Limited Liability Company Law § 206 by only publishing notice of its initial articles of organization for five consecutive weeks instead of the statutorily required six. Citing precedent, the court rejected the landlord's argument that it had cured this defect, holding that incomplete publication meant the defect remained uncured. Consequently, the landlord was precluded from maintaining the action, and the petition was dismissed.

When intimate privacy is violated, self- and relational development is impaired to the detriment of individuals and society. Despite these costs, there is a lack of systematic empirical and theoretical study of intimate privacy and efforts to protect it. This research helps fill this void through two complementary studies. Through a longitudinal experimental design, results from Study 1 highlight that partner trust and response-efficacy were not only positively predictive of online intimate disclosure, but also strengthened following knowledge of intimate privacy protections. PURPOSE: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) have demonstrated clinical benefit in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC); however, single-agent efficacy is limited, leaving significant unmet needs. Metformin may synergize with ICIs, offering promise to improve response rates. We leveraged multiomic data from a randomized, presurgical neoadjuvant trial (NCT03618654) evaluating a single infusion of the anti-PD-L1 ICI durvalumab with or without daily, standard dose metformin in previously untreated, nondiabetic patients with HNSCC to understand predictors of response and the effect of combination therapy.

Objective - While LIS scholars have extensively studied the widespread disruptions to library instruction during the lockdown period of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a relative dearth of research concerning the longer-term implications for teaching information literacy (IL). This exploratory survey sought to examine how faculty have introduced IL skills to students before, during, and after the COVID-19 lockdowns. This study examines how pre-service teachers in early childhood education (ECE) and elementary education (ELE) integrate ChatGPT into mathematics lesson planning. Using a mixed-methods case study framed by the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) with Contextual Knowledge (XK) framework and AI literacy, we analyzed the experiences of 44 pre-service teachers (24 ECE, 20 ELE) in mathematics method courses at a university in the Midwestern United States. Data sources included pre- and post-assessments, documentation of ChatGPT interactions, lesson plans, and reflection papers. This Latino Data Project Report analyzes trends in the economic well-being of Latino households in New York City between 2013 and 2023, focusing on household income and participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The findings reveal a paradoxical pattern: although median Latino household income increased over the decade, economic inequality within the Latino community widened substantially. Income gains were unevenly distributed, with higher-income households pulling further ahead while the lowest-income households experienced stagnation or decline. Over the same period, Latino households fell further behind all other racial and ethnic groups in the city. Additionally, Latinos consistently exhibited the …

Evaluation for platelet function disorders (PFD) in children is complicated by their limited exposure to hemostatic challenges, large volumes needed for light transmission aggregometry (LTA) testing, and limited data on the performance characteristics of whole-blood methods such as whole-blood impedance lumiaggregometry (WBILA). The objective of this study was to determine the clinical variables associated with the diagnosis of a PFD. A single-center, retrospective, cohort study of children evaluated for PFD was conducted. Using transport history as an analogue for the future can offer helpful insights for today’s policymakers. The present work investigates the evolution of world energy use in the transport sector, identifying its energy transitions (at the final and useful stages), and evaluating the impact of past transitions on energy use over the period 1800–2020. This study expands upon neutrosophics by establishing a novel neutrosophic model for the evaluation of ventilatory capabilities of Peruvian league 1 soccer professionals in response to an urgent need for such scientific studies to accommodate uncertainty associated with generally physiological measurements.
