This study presents the development of a conversational culinary recommendation system in Indonesian using a Large Language Model (LLM). The system aims to generate personalized restaurant recommendations through natural language interaction while addressing the limited availability of Indonesian language conversational recommender systems. Data were collected from the online platform and enhanced with synthetic conversational data to train the model’s dialogue understanding and reasoning capabilities. The proposed architecture consists of four main components: Input/Output, Recommender Agent, Tools, and Memory, which collaborate to process user input, retrieve relevant restaurant information, and generate contextually appropriate responses. The coin cell form factor has become a standard in energy storage research owing to its relatively low cost, low quantity of requisite electroactive material, fast experimental turnover, and capability to generate publishable quality data. A Matrix-Independent Method For Direct Nanomolar Dissolved Aluminium Analysis In Seawater Using Programmable Flow Injection (Pfi), Maxime M. Grand, Mariko Hatta

Existing shipboard methods for dissolved Aluminium (Al) analysis in seawater require complex instrumentation, highly trained analysts, and calibration with ultra-clean seawater standards to achieve sub-nanomolar sensitivity at sea. To address these challenges, we developed a compact, user-friendly, and low-maintenance method for the determination of dissolved Al in seawater based on programmable Flow Injection (pFI) and the lumogallion fluorescence assay. We optimized reaction conditions and the pFI mixing protocol to minimize matrix effects, enabling accurate quantification of seawater samples using standards prepared in ultrapure water. The resulting Brij-enhanced fluorometric method yields a detection limit of 0.5 nM and '3 % precision …

The rising demand for sustainable and resilient energy systems has accelerated the transformation from traditional power grids toward smart grids integrated with renewable energy networks. This thesis explores the integration of solar energy sources into smart grids to replace conventional fossil-fuel-based generation. A simulation model is developed using MATLAB/Simulink to evaluate the operational performance, stability, and adaptability of the proposed smart grid architecture. Key challenges, including intermittency, synchronization, and bidirectional power flows, are identified, and corresponding solutions, such as energy storage systems, are proposed to address these issues. This study examines how mothers' and fathers' parenting styles distinctly shape emerging adults' first-term academic outcomes during their postsecondary education, with a focus on the dimensions of parental warmth and control. Color and fluorescence spectrometry were evaluated as rapid, objective tools for verifying the cleanliness of poultry-processing food-contacting surfaces contaminated with a model chicken solution across six common materials. Both techniques detected chicken residues at dilutions several orders of magnitude below human visual and olfactory thresholds, with stainless steel and blue plastic yielding the largest color differences between clean and contaminated states and fluorescence measurements remaining highly sensitive on all tested surfaces. Representative limits of detection were on the order of 1:50-1:100 dilution of chicken residue for color measurements on most surfaces and approximately 1:50 for fluorescence measurements, compared with human …

In this CPLR article 78 proceeding, the Court of Appeals affirmed the denial of a tenant's succession rights to a deceased brother's Mitchell-Lama apartment. The landlord (HPD) found the tenant failed to prove primary residency for the required one-year period prior to the brother's death, despite being an eligible family member and listed on income affidavits. While the tenant presented some evidence like SNAP correspondence and power of attorney over the brother's bank account, the Court held the agency had a rational basis for concluding this was insufficient. Urban tree planting efforts have accelerated globally, but systematic monitoring of planted trees, particularly of survivorship and growth, lags behind. To help address this challenge, we developed and implemented the Ascot App, a free, mobile-based tool designed to streamline citizen science data collection in urban habitat restoration projects. Deployed at a Miyawaki-style microforest in Ascot Hills Park, Los Angeles, the app enables volunteers with minimal training to scan QR-coded tags on seedlings and submit standardized, timestamped plant health data via an intuitive interface. Background and Aims The lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS) has revolutionized endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). However, there is a paucity of data on the optimal approaches to training on the use of LAMSs. Native to the Southeastern United States, this species has been introduced for aquaculture as it is a popular food fishery resource. Commensal rats are managed worldwide using rat poisons known as anticoagulant rodenticides (ARs). ARs are a global health and conservation issue as they sicken and kill non-target animals that consume bait or poisoned rats. The public can use AR bait to manage rats without oversight, and so understanding why people use ARs is critical to reducing public use of, and demand for, ARs. This process is known as eutrophication and it is driving significant algae growth resulting in the more common release of harmful toxins. Utah Lake, located in Utah County, UT is one such water body that even after major reductions in anthropogenic phosphorus influent, continues to experience frequent, harmful algal blooms. Background: Pediatric anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis (pNMDARE) is an autoantibody-mediated disorder that can cause severe autonomic dysfunction, including symptomatic bradycardia and asystole. Dysautonomia can last for years, making it very challenging to manage.

Objective: To describe outcomes of 5 pNMDARE patients with life-threatening bradycardic and/or asystolic events who were managed with permanent or semi-permanent pacemaker implantation.

BTB/POZ domain-containing proteins are increasingly recognized for their context-dependent roles in cancer, acting as either tumor suppressors or oncogenic drivers depending on the cancer type. Among them, the function of ankyrin repeat and BTB domain-containing protein 2 (ABTB2) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), a highly lethal malignancy, has remained unexplored. In this study, we employed comprehensive functional genomics approaches—siRNA/shRNA knockdown, CRISPR-Cas9 knockout, plasmid-based overexpression, and a Cre-LoxP transgenic mouse model—to systemically modulate ABTB2 expression in human and murine PDAC cell lines, as well as in the KPC mouse model of PDAC. Background: The role of mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs) in acute myocardial infarction (MI) remains controversial, with conflicting evidence from landmark trials. We aimed to assess the impact of MRAs on mortality and cardiovascular outcomes post-acute MI.

Methods: We systematically searched PubMed, Embase and Cochrane CENTRAL databases up to February 2025 for randomised controlled trials comparing MRAs with placebo or standard care in adults experiencing acute MI. Primary outcome was all-cause mortality; secondary outcomes included cardiovascular mortality, heart failure, recurrent MI and ventricular arrhythmia. Data were pooled using random-effects models, with heterogeneity explored via subgroup analyses and meta-regression.
