Copy Number Variation Shapes Genome Diversity In Arabidopsis Over Immediate Family Generational Scales, Seth Debolt 2010 University of Kentucky

Copy Number Variation Shapes Genome Diversity In Arabidopsis Over Immediate Family Generational Scales, Seth Debolt

Horticulture Faculty Publications

Arabidopsis thaliana is the model plant and is grown worldwide by plant biologists seeking to dissect the molecular underpinning of plant growth and development. Gene copy number variation (CNV) is a common form of genome natural diversity that is currently poorly studied in plants and may have broad implications for model organism research, evolutionary biology, and crop science. Herein, comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) was used to identify and interrogate regions of gene CNV across the A. thaliana genome. A common temperature condition used for growth of A. thaliana in our laboratory and many around the globe is 22 degrees C. …

La Producción De Las Fresas Utilizando El Túnel Alto, Daniel Rowley, Brent Black, Dan Drost 2010 Utah State University

La Producción De Las Fresas Utilizando El Túnel Alto, Daniel Rowley, Brent Black, Dan Drost

All Current Publications

K-State Turfgrass Research 2010, Kansas State University. Agricultural Experiment Station And Cooperative Extension Service

Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station Research Reports

Turfgrass Research 2010 contains results of projects conducted by Kansas State University faculty and graduate students. Some of these results will be presented at the Kansas Turfgrass Field Day on Aug. 5, 2010, at the Rocky Ford Turfgrass Research Center in Manhattan, Kan. Articles in this Report of Progress summarize research projects that were completed recently or will be completed in the next year or two. Specifically, this year's report presents summaries of research on turf and the environment, pest control, and turf evaluations.

Production Of Premium Waxflowers, Kevin Seaton, Nikki Poulish 2010 Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, Western Australia

Production Of Premium Waxflowers, Kevin Seaton, Nikki Poulish

Bulletins 4000 -

The cut flower trade is a highly competitive global market. Waxflowers are grown around the world—often in countries with lower cost structures or closer proximity to our main markets. Western Australian producers can only compete if their product stands out from the crowd in terms of quality, presentation and uniqueness, however, it still has to represent good value for money.
