Rooted in a rural community’s needs, this paper explores how historically, and ethically informed infrastructures can support community engagement towards identification, documentation, and dissemination of local, traditional, and indigenous knowledge relating to climate change. The paper examines climate adaptation and sustainability issues through the lenses of community organizing and Library & Information Science best practices. It draws on a growing body of literature identifying a role for expanded epistemological and subject discipline perspectives. While the impacts of climate on material culture are increasingly recognized, intangible, and biocultural heritage have not received as much attention. Although called a “mini-digitization,” the recent project to scan six photographs from the IC 086 Hermann Hospital Archive Records is part of a larger effort. With help from a UTHealth community member, the McGovern Historical Center now has digital files and a detailed inventory for about 185 blueprints of the Hermann Professional Building. The focus of the study is to explore the librarians' understanding of their roles as instructors in virtual reference service and the practices of instructional strategies used in VRS. The 2025 Fiscal Year National Defense Authorization Act contains multiple provisions relating to artificial intelligence (AI). These congressionally mandated provisions direct various sections of the Department of Defense (DOD) and individual U.S. armed service branches to execute congressional intent for AI policymaking. Examples of such intent include identifying and planning DOD's AI workforce, demonstrating AI biotechnology applications for national security, improving the human usability of AI systems, and establishing an AI security center. Sharenting is a term that refers to the behavior of parents who routinely share their children's activities in visual form (photos or videos) through various social media platforms. This study aims to explore the influence of parents' digital literacy skills and risk perception on sharenting activities on social media. This study adopted a quantitative method using survey technique as the data collection instrument. By applying the snowball sampling method, 70 participants were involved in filling out the questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted by utilizing IBM SPSS Statistic software version 26..
