Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana proses translasi yang terjadi ketika inovasi teknologi portal intranet diterapkan di Kementerian Kominfo.Konsep difusi inovasi dan actor network theory digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pendekatannya adalah kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus. Unit analisis yang diteliti berupa aktor manusia dan non-manusia. Aktor manusia yaitu inisiator dan beberapa pengguna portal intranet, kemudian aktor non-manusia antara lain aplikasi intranet dan forum diskusi yang berada di portal intranet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses translasi terjadi melalui tahap problematisasi di mana inisiator menawarkan inovasi intranetpada aktor-aktor. Kandahar (2001), an Iranian film directed by Mohsen Makhmalbaf, details the journey of the protagonist, Nafas, to Kandahar to save her sister from committing suicide on the day of the solar eclipse. The film has gained recent attention by disability studies scholars for the representation of disability in Afghanistan; scholars have discussed the significance of prosthetics and international aid for the disabled in post-war zones of the Third World, but little has been said about disability as a postcolonial embodiment. The number of international students in the U.S continues growing. This study focuses on a common experience among international students on university campuses: their names are misspelled or mispronounced by cashiers or workers at on-campus coffee stores. The researchers chose a Starbucks at a Midwestern mid-size University as a site to conduct this study.

A content analysis was conducted and focused on the gender roles, gender expectations, and social norms in Disney films. The researchers studied one past Disney film, Snow White and compared it with the most recent Disney film, Frozen to draw distinctions and similarities between them. Through a chi square test of association comparing specific Disney roles of both men and women, minimum differences have been shown between past and recent films. Disney has made changes in their films by removing some overt gender stereotypes from the films; however, they continue to use many of these stereotypical gender expectations. The data …

Introduction. Condom self-efficacy, positive attitudes toward condom use, condom negotiation skills, HIV knowledge, and self-esteem have been associated with decreased HIV risk behavior among young women, but few studies have examined racial disparities that may exist in these social health indicators. Moreover, sexual pressure (inclusive of both coercive and non-coercive pressures to engage in unwanted or unprotected sex) has been understudied in women of different racial groups.
