Peri-implantitis is a biological complication that possibly occur following the placement of titanium dental implants. Treatments include both non-surgical and surgical modalities. During surgical procedure, several techniques have been introduced to decontaminate the infected implant surface. The aim of this systematic review was to assess the effectiveness of the implantoplasty technique in the treatment of peri-implantitis, by investigating the changes in the clinical and radiographic parameters of peri-implant tissues after treatment and assessing both the short and long-term implant survival following the implantoplasty. This study aimed to determine the association between oral health literacy (OHL) and periodontal status among Thailand's older population. This cross-sectional study was conducted between 1 July and 30 September 2020 at HPHs in, Panare, Pattani, Thailand. A total of 216 independent living older adults, participated in the study. OHL data were obtained using the Thai version of Health Literacy in Dentistry (HeLD‐Th). Trained interviewers performed face-to-face interviews for oral health-related behaviours information. The degenerative temporomandibular joint diseases such as osteoarthritis, rheumatic arthritis, TMJ ankylosis, condylar resorption is successfully treated by total joint replacement. The aim of this study was to examine the function of Temporomandibular joint after total joint replacement. 15 patients with unilateral or bilateral TMJ total joint replacements and 15 healthy controls were evaluated via SICAT JMT+ device. This non-invasive system measures 3D position and rotation in all degrees of freedom and allows undisturbed functional mandibular movements to provide a quantitative evaluation. The entry level for the dental hygiene profession has, historically been an associate degree. In 2016 the American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA) approved the Bachelor’s Degree level of education as the preferred for entry level degree. This study is to determine practicing West Virginia dentists preference for the education level of their entry-level dental hygiene employees. There were 1020 surveys electronically distributed to practicing WV dentists to obtain their opinions and preferences. The advent of porous materials, in particular zeolitic nanoparticles, has opened up unprecedented putative research avenues in nanomedicine. Zeolites with intracrystal mesopores are low framework density aluminosilicates possessing a regular porous structure along with intricate channels. Their unique physiochemical as well as physiological parameters necessitate a comprehensive overview on their classifications, fabrication platforms, cellular/macromolecular interactions, and eventually their prospective biomedical applications through illustrating the challenges and opportunities in different integrative medical and pharmaceutical fields. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of vitamin C containing sodium ascorbate prepared solution on dentin bond strength of resin composite to non-vital bleached tooth and on fracture resistance of restored non-vital bleached tooth. Sixty (30 pairs, left and right) extracted sound human maxillary premolar teeth were collected from 30 patients. การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคืนกลับแร่ธาตุของกลาสไอโอโนเมอร์ซีเมนต์ชนิดดัดแปลงด้วยเรซิน (Resin-modified glass ionomer cement; RMGIC) กับแคลเซียมซิลิเกตซีเมนต์ชนิดดัดแปลงด้วยเรซิน (Resin-modified calcium silicate cement; RMCSC) ทดสอบโดยใช้เนื้อฟันส่วนตัวฟันจากฟันกรามแท้มนุษย์จำนวน 24 ซี่ ทำการตัดตัวฟันที่รอยต่อหนึ่งส่วนสามกลางตัวและหนึ่งส่วนสามปลายฟันจากนั้นกรอเตรียมโพรงฟันชนิดคลาสวันบนผิวเนื้อฟัน บริเวณพื้นโพรงฟันจะถูกวัดความแข็งผิวระดับจุลภาคที่ 3 บริเวณ ได้แก่ บริเวณควบคุม บริเวณสูญเสียแร่ธาตุ และบริเวณคืนกลับแร่ธาตุ ทำการแบ่งแต่ละบริเวณด้วยการทาน้ำยาทาเล็บ โดยในขั้นแรกทาน้ำยาทาเล็บที่ผิวฟันรอบนอกทั้งหมด ผนังโพรงฟันโดยรอบ และ 1 ใน 3 ของพื้นโพรงฟันบริเวณแรกเพื่อแบ่งบริเวณควบคุม จากนั้นนำชิ้นงานไปผ่านสภาวะจำลองที่ส่งเสริมให้เกิดการละลายแร่ธาตุ แล้วทาน้ำยาทาเล็บที่ 1 ใน 3 ของพื้นโพรงฟันบริเวณที่สองเพื่อแบ่งบริเวณสูญเสียแร่ธาตุ แบ่งชิ้นทดสอบออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม กลุ่มละ 12 ชิ้น โดยกลุ่มแรกบูรณะโพรงฟันด้วย RMGIC (กลุ่ม RMGIC) และอีกกลุ่มบูรณะด้วย RMCSC (กลุ่ม RMCSC) เมื่อบูรณะเสร็จ จากนั้นแช่ตัวอย่างทั้งหมดในน้ำปราศจากไอออนที่อุณหภูมิ 37 องศาเซลเซียสเป็นเวลา 30 วัน ทำการฝังชิ้นงานทั้งหมดอะคริลิกเรซิน และตัดเป็นครึ่งชิ้นงานตามแนวใกล้กลาง-ไกลกลาง วัดค่าความแข็งระดับจุลภาคชนิดนูปทั้งสามบริเวณที่ระยะ 20, 40, 60, 100, 150 และ 200 µm จากรอยต่อระหว่างวัสดุบูรณะกับพื้นโพรงฟัน โดยทำการวัดซ้ำในแต่ละระยะเป็นจำนวนสามรอยกด มีระยะห่างระหว่างรอยกด 100 µm คำนวณความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยความแข็งระดับจุลภาคแบบนูปในแต่ละบริเวณ วิเคราะห์ความลึกของการเกิดการคืนกลับแร่ธาตุในแต่ละวัสดุด้วยสถิติ paired t-test และเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคืนกลับแร่ธาตุระหว่างวัสดุด้วยสถิติ independent t-test กำหนดระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ p <.05 จากผลการศึกษาพบว่าความลึกของการเกิดการคืนกลับแร่ธาตุของวัสดุทั้งสองชนิดมีไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ อย่างไรก็ตาม การเปลี่ยนแปลงของค่าความแข็งระดับจุลภาคแบบนูปหลังผ่านการคืนกลับแร่ธาตุของกลุ่ม RMCSC ต่ำกว่ากลุ่ม RMGIC จากผลการศึกษานี้จึงสรุปได้ว่าวัสดุ RMGIC มีแนวโน้มมีประสิทธิภาพในการคืนกลับแร่ธาตุมากกว่าวัสดุ RMCSC

Materials and Methods: Full coverage crown and inlay preparations with known axial wall tapers (6ᵒ and 12ᵒ) were performed on typodont teeth using a computer numerical control machine. Objective: To evaluate the accuracy and repeatability of different intraoral scanners on shade determination. Materials and methods: Ten different shades of Vita Mark II blocks were used. A disc-shape specimen (10 mm in diameter and 1 mm thick) per ceramic block was fabricated. Ten color measurements per specimen were performed by each instrument (Vita Easyshade V [control], 3shape Trios, Cerec Omnicam, Cerec Primescan) and recorded in Vita Classic color system.
