การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพการจัดการเรียนการสอนเพื่อส่งเสริมการคิดเชิงนวัตกรรมของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษา 2) เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการจัดการเรียนการสอนเพื่อส่งเสริมการคิดเชิงนวัตกรรมของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษา โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างซึ่งเป็นครูผู้สอนกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีระดับมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา กรุงเทพมหานคร เขต 1 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสอบถาม แบบสัมภาษณ์และแบบสังเกต การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การวิเคราะห์ด้วยสถิติบรรยายและการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลจากการวิจัย พบว่า 1. สภาพการจัดการเรียนการสอนเพื่อส่งเสริมการคิดเชิงนวัตกรรมของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาโดยภาพรวม พบว่า ครูมีระดับการปฏิบัติมากทุกด้าน เมื่อพิจารณาค่าเฉลี่ยรายด้าน พบว่า ในด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนมีค่าเฉลี่ยรายด้านในการปฏิบัติน้อยที่สุด เนื่องจากครูละเลยการนำผลลัพธ์หรือนวัตกรรมไปใช้ รวมถึงการพิจารณาผลลัพธ์ ปรับปรุงเพิ่มมูลค่าผลลัพธ์ ในขณะที่ด้านสื่อการเรียนการสอนมีค่าเฉลี่ยรายด้านในการปฏิบัติมากที่สุด เนื่องจากครูส่วนใหญ่นำสื่อเทคโนโลยีเข้ามาช่วยจัดการเรียนการสอนเพื่อเอื้อให้นักเรียนสะดวกต่อการค้นคว้าแนวคิดใหม่ ๆ ขยายขอบข่ายแนวคิดของตนเองอย่างไม่จำกัด 2. แนวทางการจัดการเรียนการสอนเพื่อส่งเสริมการคิดเชิงนวัตกรรมของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษา ประกอบด้วย 4 ด้าน คือ 2.1 การเตรียมการสอน คัดเลือกเนื้อหาและสอดแทรกสถานการณ์ปัญหาที่กระตุ้นความสนใจ เพื่อให้นักเรียนมีมุมมองในการสร้างแนวคิดที่หลากหลายและอิสระ 2.2) การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน โดยคัดเลือกวิธีการสอนที่มีการปฏิบัติอย่างต่อเนื่องตามกระบวนการนวัตกรรม เปิดโอกาสในนักเรียนได้ลงมือปฏิบัติ 2.3) สื่อการเรียนการสอน เลือกใช้สื่อที่สามารถเชื่อมโยงแนวคิดและกระบวนการพัฒนาผลลัพธ์หรือนวัตกรรม 2.4) การวัดและประเมินผล วัดและประเมินผลโดยพิจารณาความสามารถในการสร้างแนวคิดและพัฒนาแนวคิดสู่ผลลัพธ์หรือนวัตกรรมตามกระบวนการที่มีประสิทธิภาพ

การวิจัยและพัฒนานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้เกมมิฟิเคชันและความเป็นจริงเสริมสำหรับนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย 2) เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผลของชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้เกมมิฟิเคชันและความเป็นจริงเสริมที่มีต่อการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษแบบพึ่งพาตนเอง และ 3) เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนเกี่ยวกับชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้เกมมิฟิเคชันและความเป็นจริงเสริม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่แห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน ทั้งหมด 30 คน ได้มาจากการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ 1) ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้เกมมิฟิเคชันและความเป็นจริงเสริม 2) แบบวัดการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษแบบพึ่งพาตนเอง 3) แบบสะท้อนคิดการเรียนรู้ และ 4) แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนเกี่ยวกับชุดกิจกรรม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ การแจกแจงความถี่ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที (Dependent T – Test) และการวิเคราะห์แก่นสาระ (Thematic Analysis) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้เกมมิฟิเคชันและความเป็นจริงเสริมมีจำนวนทั้งหมด 5 ชุด ได้แก่ 1) Food and Drinks 2) A Lovely Town 3) Products 4) Warning Signs และ 5) Occupations แต่ละชุดกิจกรรมประกอบด้วย 1) กิจกรรมในชั้นเรียนซึ่งมีขั้นตอนการสอน 4 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นชี้แจงกติกาและภารกิจ ขั้นทำภารกิจสำรวจสื่อและแหล่งเรียนรู้ด้วยความเป็นจริงเสริม ขั้นทำภารกิจทางภาษาอังกฤษ และขั้นตรวจสอบความเข้าใจและให้ผลป้อนกลับ และ2) กิจกรรมฝึกฝนด้วยตนเองนอกห้องเรียนซึ่งมีขั้นตอนการสอน 2 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นการทบทวนความรู้และขั้นฝึกฝนภาษาอังกฤษด้วยตนเอง 2. ผลการศึกษาประสิทธิผลของชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้เกมมิฟิเคชันและความเป็นจริงเสริม พบว่า 1) คะแนนการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษแบบพึ่งพาตนเองหลังเรียนสูงกว่าคะแนนก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ 2) นักเรียนมีความต้องการเรียนรู้และทำกิจกรรมภาษาอังกฤษที่ชัดเจนขึ้นเพื่อพัฒนาข้อบกพร่องของตนเอง และเริ่มตระหนักถึงประเด็นภาษาในกิจกรรมที่ทำและสื่อที่นำมาใช้มากขึ้น อีกทั้งยังเริ่มปรับปรุงเทคนิคการเรียนรู้ของตนเองโดยพิจารณาจากปัญหาหรือข้อบกพร่องที่พบในการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคนิคเดิม 3. นักเรียนมีระดับความพึงพอใจเกี่ยวกับชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้เกมมิฟิเคชันและความเป็นจริงเสริมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด โดยนักเรียนมีความเห็นว่าชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้มีความสนุกสนาน ท้าทาย มีสื่อที่น่าสนใจ ทันสมัยและแปลกใหม่ และช่วยให้จดจำได้ดีขึ้นจากการใช้ตัวอย่างที่พบได้จริงในชีวิตประจำวัน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนตามแนวคิดการใช้ประเด็นทางสังคมที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับวิทยาศาสตร์ เพื่อเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์คือ 1) เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนตามแนวคิดการใช้ประเด็นทางสังคมที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับวิทยาศาสตร์ และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผลของรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนตามแนวคิดการใช้ประเด็นทางสังคมที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับวิทยาศาสตร์ กลุ่มเป้าหมายคือผู้เรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ระยะเวลาดำเนินการทดลอง 10 สัปดาห์ การดำเนินการวิจัยเป็นกระบวนการวิจัยและพัฒนาที่เป็นการพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้แนวคิดการใช้ประเด็นทางสังคมที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับวิทยาศาสตร์เป็นพื้นฐานในการพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอน เพื่อใช้ในการเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ของผู้เรียน ซึ่งมีเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบวัดสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ และแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบที ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. รูปแบบการเรียนการสอนตามแนวคิดการใช้ประเด็นทางสังคมที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ มีหลักการสำคัญ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ 1) การเสนอประเด็น สถานการณ์หรือเหตุการณ์ที่กำลังถกเถียงหรือสังคมให้ความสนใจ ใกล้ตัวผู้เรียน และเน้นทางวิทยาศาสตร์ จะช่วยกระตุ้นให้ผู้เรียนแสวงหาความรู้ รวบรวมและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์และจิตวิทยาศาสตร์ 2) การมีส่วนร่วมในเรียนรู้จากการสืบเสาะหาความรู้ การอธิบาย การ-โต้แย้ง และแสดงเหตุผลเพื่อยืนยันความคิดของตนเองผ่านวิธีการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ ทำให้ผู้เรียนเกิดการสร้างองค์ความรู้ด้วยตนเองและพัฒนาทักษะการสืบค้นและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ทักษะการนำเสนอข้อมูล ทักษะการให้เหตุผล ทักษะการแปลความหมายข้อมูล ทักษะการทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น และทักษะการแก้ปัญหา และ 3) การมุ่งเน้นกระบวนการที่ได้มาซึ่งข้อสรุปและหลักฐานที่ยืนยันข้อสรุปโดยมีกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์และจิตวิทยาศาสตร์จะทำให้เกิดองค์ความรู้ที่สามารถนำไปแก้ไขปัญหาหรือไปประยุกต์ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันได้ รูปแบบการเรียนการสอนที่พัฒนาขึ้นนี้ประกอบด้วย 5 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นที่ 1 ขั้นเสนอประเด็น ทางสังคม ขั้นที่ 2 ขั้นวิเคราะห์ประเด็นปัญหา ขั้นที่ 3 ขั้นเสนอหลักฐานและให้เหตุผล ขั้นที่ 4 ขั้นลงข้อสรุป และขั้นที่ 5 ขั้นขยายความรู้ 2. ประสิทธิผลของรูปแบบการเรียนการสอน พบว่า 1) สมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ของผู้เรียนหลังทดลองสูงกว่า เกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ทั้งในภาพรวมและในแต่ละองค์ประกอบของสมรรถนะ ทางวิทยาศาสตร์ 2) สมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ของผู้เรียนหลังทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนทดลองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ .05 ทั้งในภาพรวมและในแต่ละองค์ประกอบของสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ และ 3) ผู้เรียนมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง ของสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ทั้งในภาพรวมและในแต่ละองค์ประกอบของสมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ไปในทิศทางที่ดีขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องตั้งแต่ช่วงแรกจนถึงช่วงหลังของการทดลอง

This study explored students’ mathematical reasoning skills and offered supports to advance them through a collaborative argumentation framework in a college intermediate algebra class. The goals of this study were to make observations about student reasoning, identify specific actions to address those observations, and document student growth in reasoning as a result of those actions. An iterative analysis, mixed method study was conducted in which the researcher engaged students in responding to questions that required conceptual understandings using a collaborative argumentation framework as a tool to identify and code components of their responses—claim, evidence, and reasoning. This paper will detail how the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic revealed the need for a modification of our current educational best practices. This modification asks that teachers create an intentional Pause where students can spend time dwelling on content and making their own meaning before teachers intervene through scaffolding and front loading. It uses a combination of personal experience, review of best practices, and Covid-19 data to show that best practices did not transfer well during the pandemic. It will then provide evidence for the addition of the Pause as well as addressing anticipated counterarguments.

Graduation rates for undergraduate degrees in STEM fields average just over 430,000 degrees per academic year (National Center for Education Statistics, 2023), leaving an approximate 2.5 million positions unfilled. This action research study explored the effects of rhythmic training, understanding of musical styles, and accompanying as a means to improve the reading and performance accuracies of my sixth-grade percussion students. I designed this study as an adapted modification of Zhukov’s (2006) exploration of how these three teaching methods enhanced college piano players' music reading skills and to improve my own teaching. Participants participated in a week of beginning percussion lessons that focused on these three teaching strategies. Education reform in the United States has unwisely focused attention on standards and accountability to the state as determined by standardized testing (Berliner & Biddle, 1995; Mehta, 2013). Stemming from the emphasis on standards-based accountability are the ideas of rapid school turnaround and the state’s role in this process (Peck & Reitzug, 2014; VanGronigen & Meyers, 2019). This non-experimental descriptive survey study examined the relationship between occupational therapy (OT) graduate students’, recent graduates’, and educators' values of the regional and specific anatomy knowledge required for OT clinical practice. The researcher collected survey data from 94 OT graduate students, recent graduates, and educators at a private university. Data analysis consisted of descriptive statistics used to analyze the value of anatomical regions and structures and a one-way ANOVA with a post-hoc Tukey to compare the group means on the value of anatomical structures. Constructivist teaching approaches rely on students to be active participants in their learning. A flipped classroom is a constructivist approach that requires the students to complete pre-learning activities outside of class. Thus, in class the students can practice and engage in team-based discussions and teacher guided learning. We delivered evidence-based practice (EBP) concepts to entry level occupational therapy (OT) students in a doctoral program using a constructivist approach, that included a flipped classroom model and reliance on team-based strategies. A teaching philosophy statement (TPS) is a brief, deeply personal narrative that gives insight into an educator’s perspective on the teaching enterprise. A TPS is typically comprised of a reflection on the educator’s values and beliefs, a description of what happens during the learning process, and statements about how teachers and learners ideally interact. Many workshops about identifying, understanding, and responding to microaggressions have been designed and delivered to learners within health education. However, few workshops implement an anti-racist pedagogical approach, and none presented in the literature have been created specifically for occupational therapy students. Anti-racist pedagogical approaches explicitly link interpersonal and institutional/structural oppressions to ensure that the impacts of microaggressions are not minimized by focusing solely on interpersonal interactions. Trauma exposure is endemic, and this study seeks to address childhood trauma in a compassionate and restorative manner. Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are serious childhood traumas that manifest as toxic stress which can damage the developing brain of a child and affect overall health. The implications are expressed dualistically: academic performance of youth is subdued & diminished, and behavioral interactions can range from unreceptive to erratic and aggressive. Trauma exposure is a predictor of adverse outcomes, which range from higher rates of suspension, expulsion, and incarceration, to dire outcomes, such as lower life expectancy and quality of life. This research focuses on middle schools where more than 90% of the students are socioeconomically disadvantaged and where mathematics scores are below the state and national average. The study was conducted to better understand how students experience various instructional strategies and perceive these classroom practices to impact their learning and self-efficacy in mathematics. A hybrid mixed methods research design, with both embedded and explanatory sequential components, was employed. Quantitative results are based on survey responses from 94 seventh grade students. This study aimed to investigate the correlation of scientific reasoning and argumentation into prospective biology teachers in plant physiology discourse. This study was conducted at September-December 2021 through blended learning. Thirty prospective biology teachers get involved as participant in this research. Scientific reasoning and argumentation intervention trough PBL and measure by essay tests. Scientific reasoning indicator follows AACU. While scientific argumentation follow TAP. Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the attitudes of dental students toward dentistry and the difficulties they face during their preclinical operative dentistry education, especially its practical aspect. Methods: About 100 third-year dental students answered a paper-based survey questionnaire (response rate = 90.90%), which was prepared and distributed in April 2019. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 22 (IBM SPSS, Turkey), and a one-way ANOVA test was used to determine the students’ competence for patient treatment based on their difficulty scores. This classroom action research aimed at improving EFL students’ listening comprehension using the implementation of podcast with transcripts through reading- while-listening strategy. The result of mean score in final test showed 81. 95 which increased 13. 05 points from initial test and discovered that 86 % of students achieved the standard passing score. Likewise, the second semester students revealed that they get used to being actively involved in the discussion and showed their enthusiasm during the teaching and learning process.
