This report and any related files are made available to the online through the Lester F. Larsen Tractor Test and Power Museum as resources allow. Established in 1998, this museum is located on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus. It is and appropriately housed within the walls of the historic 1920 Nebraska Tractor Test Laboratory, where the first tractor test was started on March 31st, 1920. EXPLANATION OF TEST REPORT: TEST A: The manufacturer's representative operates the tractor for a minimum of 12 hours using light to heavy drawbar loads in each gear. This serves as a period for limber up, general observation and adjustments. Adjustments that are permissible include valve tappet clearance, breaker, point gap, spark plug gaps, clutch and others of a similar nature. No new parts or accessories can be installed without having mention made of it in the report. No data' are recorded during this preliminary run except the time that the engine is operated. There are two primary concerns in the describing of and commenting on Martin Luther's marks and notes in Philipp Melanchthon's Apology of the Augsburg Confession. The Augsburg Confession was a public document, subscribed by evangelicals at Augsburg. Whereas the Apology also was, begun as such a public document, it was not allowed to be read at the Diet. There was no opportunity for the Apology to become a rallying point as the Augsburg Confession was for the evangelicals and as Pontifical Confutation was for the papal party. In 1 Corinthians 9 :l9-23 Saint Paul concisely summarized the principles that guided his missionary approach to the unconverted. Since he was both an Apostle one an eminently successful missionary, this pericope is a precious piece of missionary literature. Yet, as one examines books dealing with the subject of missions, he finds but a few passing, references to the passage. It is the purpose of this thesis to examine at greater length Paul's missionary tactics and the theology behind them as these are expressed in l Corinthians 9:l9-23.
