Is it necessary to add a new contribution to the dossier, already too voluminous, of the debate revolving around the publication of Rudolf Bultmann, former professor on the faculty of Protestant theology at Marburg, titled The New Testament and Mythology? This small pamphlet, which may be considered a manifesto and has since been reproduced by the author in a slightly different form, appeared for the first time in 1941 under the title Offenbarung und Heilsgeschehen. The Economic And Social Arguments Of Subscription Television, Carol Lee Knight

This project explores the intense debate surrounding the potential introduction of subscription television in the United States during the mid-1950s. At the time of writing, the Federal Communications Commission was considering Docket No. 11279, a massive collection of arguments from proponents like Zenith and Skiatron, and opponents led by major networks and theater owners. The central conflict rests on whether pay television represents a revolutionary expansion of cultural and educational opportunities or a threat to the established system of free, advertiser-supported broadcasting.
A primary legal question is whether subscription television qualifies as broadcasting under the Communications Act of 1934. Opponents …

The orchids known today make up one of the largest Angiospermous families in the world. Recent estimates place the number of genera at about 450 which estimates between 10,000 and 15,000 species (some authorities go as high as 20,000). They are without doubt one of the most highly specialized groups of green plants. Botanically the flowers are of more than passing interest for they deviate so distinctly from the norm of the Monocots. They are the possessors of a number of unique structures that are found in no other family of flowering plants.
