Luigi Sagrini's opus 4 on a "Thême de Racio Calupo" was dedicated to Luigi Legnani in 1825. No composer or composition with this title could be located. Since Legnani dedicated two of his editions to Sagrini around 1825 this points to a connection between the two artists. This letter details the discovery of the source of the theme.

This research seeks to create an alternative model for website design that interrogates standardized, linear ways of knowing and being by placing the audience at the center of the web design process. This research contributed a reimagined approach to traditional and standardized web design heuristics by considering an audience-centric methodology that was practical and applicable for web design praxis to create equitable user experiences which can empower audiences to recall their own knowledge and experience to make meaning for themselves through a reimagining of knowledge-making processes in a network of digitized information. The purpose of this research article is to analyze and explain strategies for translating Korean literary titles into Thai. By analyzing the titles of 170 literary titles from 7 publishing houses by collecting names from www.naiin.com between August - September 2023 and use the names of the translated literary works to analyze the strategies for translating the titles from Korean into Thai, applying Nord's theory of translating movie titles. Considering translations of Korean literary titles, overall analysis results found that the most used strategy was translating the title by changing the original title, found at 42.94 percent. In this poetry collection, I used my own experiences as a Vietnamese-American to present a realistic image of life in America as a minority. With the use of translanguaging and presentation of social norms in both Vietnamese and American cultures, my hope is to promote awareness of issues such as racism, colorism, body shaming, and language insecurity among Asian communities so that these problems can be healthily addressed. Despite an increased awareness of human rights issues and more interest in intersectional feminist practices in post-postmodern culture, the imprint of the repressed housewife lingers. My research for this work is driven by two central questions: What themes connect the emergence of this image in nineteenth century literature and art to the current social conception of women? The foundation of postcolonial theory rests on the assertion that the specter of colonialism permeates every aspect of society in erstwhile colonial nations. Ghana, originally called the Gold Coast, was a colony of Great Britain until 1957. That the British founded the film industry in Ghana as a tool to indoctrinate their colonial subjects provides a singular opportunity for scholarly exploration. Evaluating Ghanaian cinema from its colonial origins to its post-independence evolution, while incorporating an examination of the myriad political developments that paralleled its progression, helps to elucidate the effects of colonialism on the country’s film aesthetic. This research aimed to analyze the metaphorical expressions that reflect conceptual metaphors or metaphorical concepts related to death in the Bible and to examine the metaphorical functions using the conceptual metaphor theory of Lakoff and Johnson (1980), Gibbs (1994), and Kövecses (2002). The study categorized metaphorical expressions and conceptual metaphors, and also utilized the concept of Goatly (1997) to investigate the functions of metaphors. For this research, data were collected from the “death” expressions that appeared in the 1971 Thai-language version of the Bible in the Holy Bible app developed by Life.Church (2023), comprising 300 passages (Bible verses). One of the nations where Confucian traditions have had a long-standing influence on women is South Korea and still adheres to these practices until present. The purpose of this research is to study the representation of South Korean women under the Confucian tradition during the period of democratic and economic development from Korean Series Reply 1988 (응답하라 1988). In the mid-to-late twentieth century, through outstanding and transformative leadership, rural Black women activists in the Arkansas Delta worked to confront significant problems facing their communities, in the contexts of health, education, and social justice; their efforts were often apolitical in nature, at least overtly. These women went beyond the demands of many mid-twentieth-century civil rights activists to create spaces to articulate and demand human rights, broadly conceived.
