The study aimed to know the psychological and social repercussions of climate change among a sample of residents of Akkar Governorate in northern Lebanon in light of the variables of gender, economic status, and age group. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach using the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data and information. The sample numbered 380 individuals, distributed according to the variables of gender, economic status, and age group, and they were chosen randomly. The study aimed to investigate the impact of weather coldness on mood and cognitive styles among a sample of coastal area residents in Tripoli and a sample of residents from the mountainous region in Sir Al-Dinniyah area, Northern Lebanon. The sample consisted of 400 participants from the coastal area and 400 from the mountainous area, equally divided by gender (males, females). The study followed an analytical descriptive approach, utilizing the Positive Thinking Scale and the Mood State Scale after confirming their socio-metric characteristics. Upper Country: A Journal of the Lake Superior Region

What follows is an overview of the Italian story scattered across the Lake Superior region in the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota and the Canadian province of Ontario and finally the state of Michigan. The role of the unskilled laborer seeking work on rail lines and other construction jobs that started in the 1880s came to an end by the 1920s when railroads no longer needed large numbers of construction crews.

The narrative will begin by focusing on railroad laborers in the Lake Superior basin, but the majority of the story will be centered in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. …

The University of Nebraska at Kearney( UNK) is completing an extensive renovation to the Calvin T. Ryan Library. Nebraska’s 1% for Art Law requires that 1% of all state-funded projects be set aside for a public art commission. The Nebraska Arts Council spearheaded UNK’s search and out of over 100 submissions the successful applicant was Leslie Iwai, an accomplished artist with a history of creating thought-provoking pieces in public spaces, galleries and museums.
