Carbon fiber and cobalt composites are advanced materials with wide applications in the nanotechnology industry due to their unique mechanical and physical properties. This study uses the CES EduPack (Granta CES Selector) method to generate and compare the structures of these composites. Through the analysis of stiffness, strength, density and cost data, the advantages and trade-offs of each material are identified. Carbon fiber composites stand out for their high stiffness and strength, but have a higher cost compared to cobalt composites, which offer greater flexibility and higher density.
