When it comes down to the wire, we find ourselves dying to figure out “what is the mystery of Lauren Lansky?” and at the end, we just might.

This project aims to highlight Bosnian culture and history, specifically to examine the historical and cultural significance of the Stari Most in Bosnia during the Bosnian War and its aftereffects. To discuss the “othering” that Bosnian Muslims faced during the war and how that correlated with the destruction of the Stari Most. This project includes an acrylic painting of the Stari Most as both a symbol of cultural resilience and architectural grace.

Possible rationalizations behind the formation of the occupational gap can be narrowed down to two factors: institutional barriers and personality differences. Accounts of prestigious organizations intentionally underrepresenting women in academic spheres, in addition to the persistence of societal norms can explain the observed distribution. For my historical movie analysis, I chose to study Gentlemen Prefer Blondes because I wanted to understand Marilyn Monroe’s impact beyond fashion and glamour. This film is more than a showcase of 1950s style it’s a cultural statement that challenged societal norms. Through my analysis of the movie I found that by embodying both beauty and intelligence, Monroe redefined femininity, proving that ambition and allure could coexist. Through this analysis, I further explored how her influence in fashion and media not only shaped trends but also contributed to greater freedoms for women today.

In this study, the researcher created multiple curricula to support Ecuadorian and Honduran communities in collaboration with Misión Lázaro and Manna Project International. They conducted research into past literature and explored examples of other Hispanic and United States non-profit organizations. Through the experience of this collaboration (observations about the dynamic and management of organizations) a deeper understanding grew surrounding the topics of social enterprise and impact on communities in Honduras and Ecuador. The use of a strategy involving original or atypical labels for prestige wines has shown its relevance in numerous studies. However, the implementation of an artification strategy in particular has rarely been addressed for wines, particularly those with an entry and mid-range positioning. Moreover, few studies have questioned professionals in the sector about the use of such a strategy. Consequently, the authors carried-out an exploratory study with 13 winemakers in order to gain a better understanding of the effects of this strategy on their entry and mid-range wines. In 1988, a rebel group called the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) formed in Northern Uganda. A civil war broke out between the LRA and the government, lasting more than two decades and affecting almost the entire population of Northern Uganda. Children were some of the most impacted by the conflict, as the LRA’s primary strategy was abducting children and forcibly recruiting them as sexual slaves (brides), manual laborers, and soldiers.First, this paper establishes the historical and political backdrop of the conflict, providing context for the psychological impacts that abduction into war had on children, Acholi culture, and the communities involved. …

Role language, a term coined for the different kinds of speech employed by fictional characters according to their archetypes, is notoriously difficult to translate from Japanese into English. There is no direct way to express in English the sentence-ending particles, variations in verb conjugation, and differing first-person pronouns associated with role language, but translators can often work around these issues through effective word choice.
