The paper includes analysis of multiple sources and my original research done via survey of female engineering students at the University of Dayton. The assignment presented was to write a position paper in the format of a letter to a German Catholic friend undergoing an existential crisis during the Reformation period. First, we needed to analyze Martin Luther's 3 Walls of the Romanists, and then take a stance either choosing to follow or ignore Luther. When it comes to symbols of emancipation, President Abraham Lincoln is king. No other person is more associated with the abolition of slavery than "The Great Emancipator" himself. This holds true in Gettysburg just as much as it does throughout the country. Only last September, Gettysburg College erected a statue of Abraham Lincoln signing the Emancipation Proclamation in the hope that it would "promote the discussion of race relations in America today." Yet when it comes to commemorating and remembering the struggle for emancipation, Lincoln is far from the only face that we should look to in our historic town. …

This article was undertaken to investigate the moral ethics learned in the Arabic-Javanese translation text, and how this model of translation can be the main aspect of protecting the indigenous/natural/mother language in Indonesia as a main potential of Asian Cultural Heritage. The data of this research is a Arabic – Javanese translation texts and also some units of language inside the texts. The result of this article shows that there is a connection line between empowering of Arabic Javanese translation and protecting the indigenous language.

Malang is popular with one of its traditional dance that is Malang Puppet Mask (Wayang Topeng Malang, shortened into WTM). WTM has several characteristics, they are: (1) retelling Panji stories; (2) all dancers wear puppet mask with its own characters; (3) puppet master is usually performed by male and is responsible to tell stories and narrate the dialogs; (4) the stage has its definite patterns and cannot be changed according to the puppet master’s will.
