Data-Driven Neuro-Fuzzy Modeling And Rule Optimization For Intelligent Prediction Of Bioreactor Dynamics, Kamala Najaf Mammadzada

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

Modeling wastewater bioreactors is a challenging problem in environmental engineering because the processes are constantly changing and the microorganisms do not behave in a linear or predictable way. This makes it difficult to predict and control the system behavior. This research investigates three artificial intelligence approaches for modeling wastewater bioreactors: the Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System (FIS), the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS), and clustering-based fuzzy models. These models help us predict what is happening in the bioreactors. For instance they help us predict how the amount of substances in the water is changing over time like dS0/dt dSs/dt …

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

Vegetable oil production is characterized by high variability in output indicators due to nonlinear interactions between raw material parameters, equipment modes, and heat and mass transfer conditions. Existing approaches to applying machine learning in this field, as a rule, do not account for the impact of hyperparameter adjustments on forecasting quality across specific technological stages. The article presents a systematic methodology for adjusting model parameters (Ridge regression, SVR, GBM, LSTM) applied to three key tasks: predicting residual oil content in oil cake, color index during bleaching, and free fatty acid content during deodorization. In a set of 1000 observations, including …

Structural Decomposition-Based Control Synthesis For Multivariable Systems Using Oblique Projection Operators, Abdukaxxarov Inomjon Ilxom Ugli Mr, Oripjon Olimovich Zaripov, Jasur Usmonovich Sevinov

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

This paper proposes a novel approach to control synthesis for multivariable systems with algebraic constraints using oblique projection operators and their structural decomposition. The method transforms a standard control law into a structured form by decomposing the control input into constraint-satisfying and null-space components. A generalized oblique projector is constructed using a dual matrix, ensuring flexibility in shaping system properties. Furthermore, a recursive decomposition algorithm is developed, allowing the global projector to be represented as a sum of local operators corresponding to subsystem structures. The proposed framework enables modular control design, decoupling of interactions, and efficient implementation for large-scale systems. …

Research Of Logic Elements Based On Complementary Bipolar Transistors, Nodira Batirdjanovna Alimova, Nilufar Baxtiyorovna Gulyamova

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

Important parameters for any type of inverter – a NOT logic gate – are the power consumption during switching and the supply voltage. The proposed connection of complementary (two different types) bipolar transistors reduces the current consumption and supply voltage by simultaneously using the cutoff and saturation modes of the bipolar transistors. It has been theoretically and experimentally established that an inverter using complementary bipolar transistors operates at low supply voltages, approximately 0.7 V. Power consumption is virtually independent of the inverter's static state. A method for calculating the transfer characteristic of an inverter using complementary bipolar transistors is developed, …

Algorithms Of Stable Adaptive Observation Of A Multidimensional Undefinite Object, Tursunova Sadoqat Abdusalom qizi 2026 PhD student of the department “Information Processing Systems and Control” at Tashkent State Technical University, Address: 2 University str., 100095, Tashkent city, Republic of Uzbekistan, E-mail: [email protected], Phone: +998-88-767-66-69

Algorithms Of Stable Adaptive Observation Of A Multidimensional Undefinite Object, Tursunova Sadoqat Abdusalom Qizi

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

This article presents an algorithm for simultaneously estimating the parameters and state coordinates of a multidimensional control object when some of its state variables are not directly measured. The inability to measure all state variables (coordinates) of an object is a well-known drawback of identification schemes. Such conditions require the construction of adaptive state observers. This work demonstrates that when identifying the parameters of a mathematical model for an uncertain multidimensional object, the asymptotic stability of the object and the convergence of its parameters to the model parameters are ensured, provided the input vector is sufficiently informative. The construction of …

Effects Of Hofmeister Ions On Lower Critical Solution Temperatures Of Poly(N-Isopropylacrylamide) And Poly(Vinyl Methyl Ether), Joseph Joaquin 2026 The University of Akron

Effects Of Hofmeister Ions On Lower Critical Solution Temperatures Of Poly(N-Isopropylacrylamide) And Poly(Vinyl Methyl Ether), Joseph Joaquin

Williams Honors College, Honors Research Projects

The goal of this study is to compare how four different Hofmeister anions (Cl-, SCN-, F-, and I-) affect the Lower Critical Solution temperature (LCST) on two thermo-responsive polymers: poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (pNIPAAM) and poly(vinyl methyl ether) (PVME). pNIPAAm is commonly used in the environmental applications such as monitoring, oil-water separations, or antifouling materials, and in medical industry from drug delivery to tissue engineering. When pNIPAAM or PVME reaches a temperature above their LCST, they become hydrophobic, and the polymer chains coiled, leading to their aqueous solutions turn opaque. PVME exhibits a similar LCST as that of pNIPAAM, so it can be …

The CLSF method was implemented and validated using Carbopol 940, a model yield-stress gel, at concentrations of 1 wt% and 2 wt%. Comparative shear rheology was first performed to establish baseline yield stresses and verify sample integrity. CLSF experiments were then conducted over controlled flow rate increments and gap distances …
