Memory And Production Of Standard Frequencies In College-Level Musicians, Sarah E. Weber 2013 University of Massachusetts Amherst

Memory And Production Of Standard Frequencies In College-Level Musicians, Sarah E. Weber

Forty-five participants were university music majors and minors with either (1) no experience playing a woodwind instrument, (2) limited experience, or (3) a woodwind major or minor. In a repeated-measures design, students …

This study focused on my planning, repertoire selection, and rehearsal processes. Data were collected using self-created lesson plans, personal reflections and journal entries, and individual feedback from members of the choir. The results indicated that in order for me to be an effective teacher, I had to work with my students rather than working in …
