I like to think about reality and simulacra in the internet age as then and now. Then being everything before a conscious awakening and now being anything between consciousness and reading this. The image is an arranged landscape divided into thirds from right to left, similar to a timeline. I tried my best not to use square images, cutting out only the important objects or symbols. My image uses little to no negative space, somewhat of a sensory overload. All the images are different sizes and I used layer arrangement to embed smaller objects into any negative space. Over time, we have molded, convoluted, transformed, and eradicated day-to-day wearable clothing. Whether through media-based imagery, practicality, or trend cycles, clothing has become ever-changing and representative of who we are and how we chose to express ourselves. However, in some ways power structures (schools, businesses, corporations) have exploited this expression and implemented guidelines for expressing yourself through this medium. Creating societal, gendered dress codes allows systems of power to reinforce control of individuals. The work and research of this paper sought to build upon traditional city generation and simulation in creating a tool that both realistically simulates cities and their prominent features and also creates aesthetic and artistically rich cities using assets that combine several contemporary or near contemporary architectural styles. The major city features simulated are the surrounding terrain, road networks, individual buildings, and building placement. The tools used to both create and integrate these features were created in Houdini with Unreal Engine 5 as the intended final destination. Making short lists of people, things, and experiences that one is grateful for is a helpful habit for decreasing anxiety. Sending Gratitudeis an expansion of these lists guided by the research question:

In what ways does reflecting on past experiences where I was grateful that someone decreased my past anxiety help reduce current anxieties?
