On May 1, 2024, in the Library lobby, the Friends of the TMC Library hosted a special end-of-semester student-focused event, Cookies & Conversation. The Friends invited students to enjoy cookies and sparkling water and shared the Friends’ mission to support the TMC Library. Students also entered a drawing to win a door prize including a ticket to the Fall Book & Author Event and membership in the Friends of the TMC Library. Archivists at the McGovern Historical Center, recently published a guide to the audiovisual items found in the Hermann Hospital Historical Archive. Nearly 200 audio recordings, approximately 250 videos, and 46 reels of film are now described item-by-item and can be searched or browsed by title online.

The longstanding prevalence of hypertension, often undiagnosed, poses significant risks of severe chronic and cardiovascular complications if left untreated. This study investigated the causes and underlying risks of hypertension in females aged between 18-39 years. The research questions were: (Q1.) What factors affect the occurrence of hypertension in females aged 18-39 years? (Q2.) What machine learning algorithms are suited for effectively predicting hypertension? (Q3.) How can SHAP values be leveraged to analyze the factors from model outputs? The findings are: (Q1.) This study investigates the significance of knowledge transfer strategies within libraries, encompassing insights and expertise deeply ingrained in organizational strategy. This study aims to explore and evaluate key indicators of scientific behavior in the research domain concerning the intersection of open innovation and concepts of knowledge transfer in libraries. Through bibliometric and network analysis, the study seeks to unravel the joint scientific trajectory of these domains. This research uncovered three primary avenues: knowledge transfer within LIS research and journals, knowledge retention for outgoing employees, and knowledge transfer in information literacy programs. This study discusses the Policy Implementation of ANRI Regulation 6/2021 on The Archives Functions of the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Ministry X RI by using the concept of policy implementation George C. Edward III, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This study concludes that implementing the ANRI 6/2021 regulation at the Secretariat of the Directorate General still needs to improve or is not optimal in every influencing factor. This workflow is used for the University of Central Florida Libraries’ deaccession project to batch withdraw single and/or multiple items and volumes in records in Ex Libris’ Library Management System, Alma. It comprises several parts, including creating to-be-withdrawn list and considering different scenarios, batch withdrawing items in Alma, batch updating the MARC 996 field used for local statistics in the bibliographic records, creating the batch import profile, importing the updated records, unlinking bibliographic records from the Network Zone, and copying all the 035 fields (OCLC number) for Connexion update. In 1986, when IMSA first opened its doors to students, Plato, NovaNET, MacIntosh Plus and the Dat. Lab, even track paper all played an essential role in connecting IMSA to the emerging digital world. IMSA’s library, for example, boasted digital technology on par with the Ivy League university libraries. Like the rest of the world, IMSA has continued to expand and update its use of digital technologies, and as we move towards AI, this exhibit celebrates computing in our early days.
