Purpose – The Department of Library and Information Science, Pondicherry University, has a Facebook page created a decade back to reach out to its Alumni and Research Scholars. This research is to collect feedback on the FB page to improvise it.
Design/methodology/approach – A well-structured questionnaire comprising two sections: section A: demographic details and Section B: consist of questions with provisions to rank on a five-point Likert scale, circulated on the Departments Facebook Page (DLIS-Pondicherry-University). Sixty responses were recorded during data collection and analyzed using SPSS.

The present study aims to measure the contributions of Prof. Anurag Kumar, who served as the Director at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru between August 2014 to July 2020. He has contributed 181 publications during his 36 years of career. He has published his majority of publications 171 (94.48%) in collaboration; most active collaborators with Prof. Anurag Kumar are Altman E. with (17) publications, Kuri Joy (15), Anand (14), and Singh (12). This quantitative study was carried out in 2018 with the analysis of eleven published issues of “Research journal; The Shield” from 2006 to 2016. The authors attempted to find the numbers of articles per year, authorship pattern, length of articles, form of cited documents, the ranking of contributors and country-wise contribution of first authors. The printed version of Shield issues along with web-based issues was consulted for the analysis. The data were entered into Excel sheets for refinement and interpretation. Game-based instructional programs can provide creative, hands-on learning opportunities while protecting valuable collections. This presentation will reflect on the experience of using game-based instructional techniques to successfully develop an Escape Game that engaged a campus community with archival sources and authentic learning. Sensory game immersion provided authentic engagement with the materiality of collections, their historical context, and the deeper critical narratives within the collection. Tasks were designed to engage learning objectives that explored archival conceptualization, discovery, and interpretation. This paper describes, the results of a brief survey of archivists working for fifty five small archives nationwide. The purpose the survey was to examine to what extent smaller archival institutions are applying remote reference services, what type of remote services are being utilized and to identify common challenges faced by small archival institutions with different functions and audiences. The study examined the influence of emotional intelligence (EI) and self esteem on librarians’ social adjustment in federal universities in Nigeria. The study seek to ascertain whether emotional intelligence and self esteem predict social adjustment using a sample of 107 librarians drawn from 40 federal universities in Nigeria within the age range of 25 to 60 and a mean (X) age of 36.68) years and SD of 6.21. The multiple regression analysis shows that emotional intelligence has no significant relationship with social maladjustment thus showing a negative relationship. This study investigated the organizational commitment of information professionals working at university libraries in Pakistan. Survey method was adopted using a questionnaire to collect data from 329 information professionals of Punjab and Islamabad. The questionnaire contained 18-items measure of organizational commitment, developed by Meyer, Allen and Smith (1993), along with certain demographic variables. Each statement was measured on 5-point Likert scale (e.g. 1=Strongly Disagree, 2=Disagree, 3= Neutral, 4=Agree, 5= Strongly Agree). Editing the Eartha M.M. White Collection is a digital public history project at the University of North Florida (UNF). Started as a summer digital editing course in 2016, the project has since developed into an ongoing experiment in digital humanities outreach and community building through periodic textual editing workshops involving archival materials. Project participants transcribe and prepare for online publication (using TEI–XML) the personal correspondence and other documents of Eartha M.M. White (1876–1974), a leader of the African American community in Jacksonville, Florida. This paper covers 18873 publications on Greenhouse effect in global level from the period of 2004-2018. The Scopus international multidisciplinary bibliographical database has been used to identify the Global contributions in the field of Greenhouse effect. The most number of papers were published in the journals as Article, i.e. 11982 (63.49%). Globally, USA is the highest publications country with the contribution of 4172 papers. India is in the ninth position of global level research output with 484 (2.55%) published articles.

This paper presented a review of the literature related to knowledge acquisition and knowledge creation. The paper discussed the nature and types of knowledge, knowledge acquisition, theories and models of knowledge acquisition, in addition to the review of empirical studies measuring knowledge acquisition. For knowledge creation, the paper discussed the definition of knowledge creation, theories and models of knowledge creation, and review of empirical studies measuring knowledge creation. Findings of the review revealed how researchers and scholars have used a variety of variables in investigating and measuring knowledge acquisition and knowledge creation among managers, engineers, and faculty members.

Abstract:
Purpose: This retrospective study, evaluate the publications published in PubMed Indexed journals through authors who participated as the first or as a participatory author associated with institutes functioning in Pakistan.
Methods: The information related to literature in hepatitis C was published, and retrieved on October 1st, 2019 from the PubMed/Medline database to tabulate in Microsoft Excel 2010. Yearly growth of articles, the pattern of authorship, position and participation of the author in manuscript, subject-wise distribution of research, the involvement of institutes, and frequency of journals were objectives from the period 2014 - 2018.
