A total of 249 male and female elderly people participated in the study. Antiresorptive drugs are widely used to treat osteoporosis. A serious adverse effect of these drugs is medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ). By informing and educating patients about MRONJ, providing proper dental referral, and monitoring the oral health of patients who receive antiresorptive agents, physicians can reduce the risk of MRONJ. We investigated the awareness and clinical practices of physicians in Thailand with regard to MRONJ. Physicians who prescribed antiresorptive drugs for osteoporosis filled out an online self-administered questionnaire about demographic characteristics, awareness, and practices related to MRONJ. COVID-19 preventive measures in dental clinics have evolved in response to the pandemic situation. This research investigated the effect of this pandemic on Thai patients' knowledge, attitudes, and behavior toward dental treatment. The online survey was distributed in June 2022. This study aimed to investigate the characteristic of the Jagged1-treated hDPSCs-derived dECM and its biological activity on odonto/osteogenic differentiation SCAPs. We identified the five variants from five families, three were novel, comprising c.739delA (p.(Ser247Valfs*)), c.901C>T (p.(Gln301*)), and c.1081C>T (p.(Gln361*)) and two were reported, comprising c.673C>T (p.Arg225Trp) and c.674G>A (p.Arg225Gln). การศึกษานี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความรู้และทัศนคติต่อภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้นของทันตแพทย์ในประเทศไทยจำนวน 494 คน ระหว่างเดือนกรกฎาคมถึงกันยายน พ.ศ.2565 โดยใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์ประกอบด้วย 3 ส่วนได้แก่ ข้อมูลทั่วไป ความรู้ และทัศนคติ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าทันตแพทย์มีระดับความรู้น้อย จำนวน 275 คน (ร้อยละ 56.9) เกี่ยวกับคำจำกัดความของโรค พยาธิสรีรวิทยา การวินิจฉัยและการรักษา และผลคะแนนความรู้มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่นร้อยละ 95 ของคะแนนความรู้ระหว่างทันตแพทย์ที่เคยฝึกอบรมและไม่เคยฝึกอบรมเกี่ยวกับภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น ทั้งในและนอกระบบมหาวิทยาลัยทันตแพทยศาสตร์บัณฑิต และระหว่างทันตแพทย์ที่เคยมีประสบการณ์และไม่เคยมีประสบการณ์ในการตรวจคัดกรองผู้ป่วยที่มีภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น แต่พบว่าทันตแพทย์ผู้ร่วมวิจัยส่วนใหญ่มีทัศนคติเชิงบวกต่อความสำคัญว่าภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้นอาจคุกคามถึงชีวิต และมีความมั่นใจในการตรวจคัดกรองและให้การจัดการภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น โดยจำนวนร้อยละ 76 เห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่งว่าภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้นเป็นโรคที่มีความสำคัญเพราะอาจคุกคามถึงชีวิตได้ สรุปว่าทันตแพทย์ไทยยังมีระดับความรู้น้อยแต่มีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น บ่งชี้ให้เห็นว่าทันตแพทย์เห็นคุณค่า รวมถึงให้ความสำคัญและเต็มใจที่จะเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น

Purpose: The objective of this study was to compare the exposure/uncovery of palatally impacted canines via the use of dynamic navigation guidance to the traditional freehand approach. Outcomes evaluated include the time to plan and perform exposure, area/size of initial access to locate the impacted tooth and the final size of the osteotomy to completely uncover the impacted tooth.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to survey pediatric dental care providers in the United States to evaluate their knowledge in the detection and reporting of child abuse and neglect (CAN). Methods: This study has been modeled as a cross sectional- survey based research study.
