Digital humanities study applies technological tools to the study of humanities topics and allows for the exploration of new questions in ways that were not possible using traditional research models. Librarians have been active participants of the field since its inception, as they explore new ways to critically engage with information organization and information literacy instruction, and most research that focuses on the intersection between these fields takes place within research universities . The research problem explored elementary administrators in a southern school district in Georgia who experienced challenges supporting teachers’ implementation of inclusion strategies to support the academic needs of students with disabilities (SWDs) in general education classrooms. The purpose of this basic qualitative study examined administrators’ challenges and teachers’ support with the implementation of inclusion strategies for SWDs. The conceptual framework that grounds the research included Fullan’s six secrets of change and Burns’ transformational leadership theory. The purpose of this mixed methods study was to determine what preparational experiences are necessary for assistant principals to effectively transition to the principalship. Fifteen principals completed a 21-item survey and answered seven interview questions to better understand how the North Carolina Standards for School Executives aligned with the daily tasks and responsibilities of school principals. The study employed a qualitative phenomenological design in its exploration of leader resilience, as shared through the lived experiences of 10 Black female principals. Semi-structured interviews were used to capture and examine Black women’s perceptions of how they have grown from the challenges they have experienced in the principalship.
