Objective This poster aims to discuss experiential reflections of starting a new career as a medical library professional during the global pandemic and the respective supervisorial perspective. The reflections convey some of the challenges faced while beginning a career where traditional on-the-job experience was unavailable and the issues of providing training and mentoring remotely to subordinates.

Methods: Library staff reached out to a local community center with the intention of introducing the health professions to students in the community. This paper aims to gauge the impact of internet blockade on the research students pursuing research in Kashmir post abrogation of article 370 of Indian constitution that granted political autonomy to erstwhile state of Jammu & Kashmir. Presentation for the NCompass Live, a program of the Nebraska Library Commission. The Queer Omaha Archives in UNO Libraries’ Archives and Special Collections launched in 2016 as the first dedicated LGBTQ+ archival and book collection in Nebraska. During Spring 2021, a team of librarians and eight student interns conducted a diversity, equity, and inclusion audit of our institution’s print and ebook collection in order to examine the voices and subjects represented and to reveal diversity shortcomings. Students assisted in determining the methodology, assessing print and ebook collections, and providing recommendations on closing identified collection gaps. Librarians and students met semi-monthly to check in on the progress of the project and to discuss an article related to DEI in libraries and publishing.

The goal of this study is to examine the data on how people use print and electronic resources. Users' preferences for both resources were measured using a questionnaire technique in the research. A sample of three university libraries in Ahmedabad received the survey. Descriptive and instructive research is conducted on the usage of resources, resource preferences, Internet use, browsers and search engines, databases for e-resource acquisition, and so on. The majority of students are aware of both sites, and their preferences for both are excellent. However, the majority of them want electronic resources.
