Identifying The Trusted And Preferred Health Information Sources Of Rural Women Of Kangpokpi Area, Manipur, Florence Guite, P. Hangsing

To identify the trusted and preferred sources of health information among rural women, all women of four rural/remote villages around Kangpokpi town, namely, Haijang, South Changoubung, Chaljang, and Wakotphai are studied. The study has found that the most trusted and preferred source of health information of the rural women is found to be Community Health Centre (CHC). There is also a high preference and high level of trust in the Informal sources such as family members, Traditional Mid-wives, and friends.

The purpose of this study was to examine the factors influencing the usage of the internet by the Bangalore University affiliated colleges’ faculty members and students for academic purposes. In this study tests the research framework using structural equation modelling. 167 faculty and 733 students from college libraries participated in this study. The findings of this study suggest that the attitude and perceived usefulness of the Internet significantly influence the behavioural intention of the users on using the internet for the general purposes. Their form, content and presentational style are practically indistinguishable from regular news editorials, and thus are often mistaken for informative content by newsreaders. As data repositories make more data openly available it becomes challenging for researchers to find what they need either from a repository or through web search engines. This study attempts to investigate data users’ requirements and the role that data repositories can play in supporting data discoverability by meeting those requirements. We collected 79 data discovery use cases (or data search scenarios), from which we derived nine functional requirements for data repositories through qualitative analysis. This study focused on determining business education lecturers’ perception of learning management systems (LMS) for effective teaching and learning of accounting in universities in South-East Nigeria. The study adopted survey research design. The population of the study consisted 1200 respondents comprising (staff of the Zamfara State Agricultural Development Project, FADAMA III Project, IFAD, Animal rearers and Farmers). Instruments of data collection used for the study were the questionnaire, interview and discussions. One thousand two hundred questionnaires were distributed to respondents and only 988 (82.2%) were dully returned and found usable. The results of the responses were interpreted using simple percentage and frequency tables.
