The study utilized quantitative method of research to determine the level of knowledge and skills of academic librarians in Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines on the five domains of research and the challenges they encountered relative to research writing. It also employed non-parametric Friedman test to determine the significant difference of librarians’ knowledge and skills across the five domains of research. The paper surveyed teaching methods and utilisation of library information resources among lecturers in University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Ondo State. The study employed descriptive survey research design. The research used simple random sampling technique to select fifty-four (54) respondents out of the total population of one hundred and fifty-four (154) respondents in which data was retrieved from 75% of the sampled respondents. As research is ensconced with teaching at university level, this article engages with the research output of newly recruited faculty members at Haryana Agricultural University (HAU), Hisar (India). New faculty members were administered questionnaires during Orientation Program in 2019 at HAU. Aspects like total number of publications, documents in which published, authorship pattern etc. are presented in this article. In addition to these, sex and age group wise hypotheses also tested (with parametric tests). This study investigated newspaper representation of women in the news. A total of four newspapers were studied. They are Vanguard, The Punch, The Guardian and ThisDay. The duration for the study was three years (January 1st, 2015 to December 31st, 2017). The study was guided by three objectives and two hypotheses. Content analysis was used for the study with the code sheet as the instrument for data collection. This presentation demonstrates the wide variety of publicly accessible U.S. Government national security information resources. It includes information on the U.S. constitutional foundations of national security policy, a recent annual defense spending bill, documents from the White House/National Security Council, Department of Defense, various military branches including professional military educational institutions, assorted U.S. intelligence agencies, congressional legislation, congressional committee reports on legislation, congressional committee hearings, and reports from congressional support agencies such as the Congressional Budget Office. It concludes by stressing the multiple benefits provided by having public access to these information resources.

In January 2019, I taught a condensed credit-bearing media literacy course for undergraduates based on the ACRL Frame, “Information Creation as Process”. My main learning objective was to teach students to recognize accurate information, misinformation, and disinformation in the news and on social media, not by naming them as such, but by: 1) exposing students to the process through which news goes from field observations to a published or broadcast story, and 2) exploring current social and cognitive psychology research on how humans evaluate whether to believe the information they consume. This research examines social media and utilization of information on contagious diseases by medical students of Abia State University Teaching Hospital Aba. The research adopts survey design to investigate a sample of 321 medical students of ABSU Teaching Hospital who were registered undergraduates in the 2017/2018 academic session. Because the number of the students was adequate and manageable, the research adopted the census sampling technique. Structured and validated questionnaire with a reliability coefficient value of 0.81 was used to gather data for the study. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to carry-out bibliometric analysis of publications by authors associated with Army Medical College, Pakistan using Scopus database.

Methodology: All publications, published from 1977 to 2018, by the authors affiliated with Army Medical College, Pakistan were retrieved from Scopus database. The bibliographic records of all retrieved publications were downloaded in the Microsoft Excel. The data regarding phase-wise growth of publications; citations; subject distribution; the most prolific authors and journals; and research collaboration within Pakistan and abroad were analyzed and presented in tabular form.
