The present ‘Bibliometric’ study was undertaken in the Journal of Information Science Theory and Practice (JISTaP). 102 articles published in the journal during the period (2013-2017) were studied. The study analyses various bibliometric patterns and found that the maximum 41 (40.20%) articles were submitted by two authors, followed by a single author with 36, in total 35.29% publications. Author’s productivity was recorded 0.48 average publication per author and the overall degree of collaboration was 0.65. In the Lotka’s law of scientific productivity, it is analysed that the expected authors are different from observed authors. After the analysis, it was found …

The study deals with the Scientometric study on the publication of "Geochemistry". The records are collected from Web of Science Databases for the period of 1989-2020. A total of 2603 papers were identified in Web of Science database. The study reveals that, most of the researchers preferred to publish their research results in journal and more numbers of articles were published in the year 2019. The authorship trend shows that, out of total 2603 literature published, 92.5% of the publication published under the joint author. Four thousand three hundred and eighty nine authors have contributed the total of 2603 articles. …

This paper sought to determine the provision of alternative formats of information resources for inclusive library services of visually impaired primary school pupils in Southeast Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The population of the study was 129 respondents, comprising of 125 visually impaired pupils and four librarians from the four special education centres in Southeast Nigeria. This study sought to investigate the relationship between social media use and research productivity of lecturers in private universities in Ogun State, Nigeria. This study adopted the survey design. The population comprised of 1353 lecturers from seven private universities. The purposive sampling technique was used to select 621 respondents for the study. A pretested questionnaire was used for data collection, yielding the following Cronbach alpha value: Social media use – 0.86 and research productivity – 0.95. The University of Central Florida Health Sciences Library is a digital library with 98% of resources being electronic and available online. Though almost all aspects of the library’s operations were impacted by the closing of the physical space during the coronavirus pandemic, being a digital library helped the library team transition quickly to remote reference, programming and instruction services.
