I will discuss why I was able to pivot quickly to tackle them and their significance for student success, faculty scholarship, the library, and the IR.

This documents details the purpose, accountabilities, and timeline for IDEA 2.0, a group of university library staff who focus on active interrogation of existing policies and practices. The group works to ensure that the library’s policies and practices do not reinforce existing inequitable power structures with an early focus on white supremacy culture, but not to the exclusion of other inequities such as patriarchy, ableism, and others. IDEA 2.0 acts as a guiding body to establish best practices and mechanisms of accountability.

In this presentation to the 2021 Electronic Resources & Libraries Conference (delivered online on March 11, 2021), I described the challenges involved in identifying the correct package (or collection or database) in a library knowledge base such as multiple entries with very similar names; incorrect number of holdings; or incorrect URLs (links). Drawing from experience using the EBSCO Holdings and Link Management kb and preparing to migrate to Alma, I developed concepts for unique package identifiers to improve confidence, efficiency, and accuracy in library workflows and migration and in the discovery layer used by library patrons.

One-shot instruction sessions and credit-bearing courses are a common mode of instruction for the graduate student audience, but both share limitations regarding best practices for adult learning theory. Research on collaboration in information literacy curriculum has yielded insights into the opportunities and challenges surrounding efforts to establish sustainable teaching models. Few studies, however, have examined the ways in which these teaching partnerships enrich the knowledge base of instruction librarians and faculty. This paper examines the pedagogical knowledge development of two instructional librarians and one composition instructor in the collaborative teaching of information literacy skills in a composition course. This study aimed to examine Bradford's law of scattering on the global synthetic biology literature output published between 2005 to 2019. The authors used the publications data obtained from Web of Science database for the present study. The total data set consists of 8411 journal articles and 1453 journals. The authors employed both verbal and graphical formulations of Bradford's law. The author's calculated the value of Bradford's multiplier using Egge's formula and found it as 10.52.
