Background: Many public libraries embraced digitalisation while some are hesitant to embrace it.

Aim: The purpose of the study was to examine digitalisation of library services as a magnifying factor in improving public library services in Limpopo.

Method: The study used a quantitative research approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire comprising both open and closed questions.

Results: Findings revealed that ICT infrastructure in Limpopo public libraries is underdeveloped and inadequate. Given this, the majority of public librarians are unable to utilise ICTs to render library and information services resulting in limited access to those services. It is recommended …

The Anchor began in 1887 and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. For much of The Anchor's history, the latest issue was distributed across campus each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions). In recent years The Anchor moved to monthly print issues and a more frequently updated website. The Anchor is now published in print twice per academic semester. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular.

Leading Change: A Case Study Of A Transparent, Scaffolded Process For Rebalancing Workloads Across Liaisons, Carolyn Schubert

Libraries

Campus and internal position reorganizations changes had created significant imbalances across workloads of liaison librarians. Some people were experiencing burnout, some were feeling unengaged due to underutilization. To build buy-in for the change process and ultimate change decisions, the interim Director developed a multi-step process for scaffolding change and creating transparency across the decision points. Working within the constraints of existing personnel, we had to be creative. The presentation will describe the techniques the interim Director used to identify the problem, facilitate open communication, and engage shared leadership to resolve the imbalances.

It is an attempt to find out the various scientometrics indicators such as: type of document wise distribution, authorship pattern, year wise publication, Co-occurrence of keyword. This study compared the extent to which employee motivation and job satisfaction promote productivity among the staff of Sam Jonah and Osagyefo libraries. The study used a cross-sectional survey design. Census sampling and a questionnaire were used to collect data from 184 library staff of both Sam Jonah and Osagyefo libraries in Ghana based on the objectives identified. The study revealed that hygiene factors such as salary, working conditions, supervision, policies, interpersonal relation, security, and fringe benefits could serve as determinants of job satisfaction of staff of Sam Jonah and Osagyefo libraries.
