It is common for inpatient medical floor RNs to care for an average of 5-7 patients per assignment plus the role of charge RN or preceptor, which borders the legal limit in the state of Connecticut. We believe that by eliminating an assignment for charge RN’s, safe staffing ratios can be achieved, and RN higher retention rates could be achieved with a strategic PICO investigation.

Introduction: Improving postpartum care by addressing the steep decline in postpartum care utilization is important to maternal and newborn health. This integrative review explores the use of telehealth in the postpartum period and its impact on improving health outcomes and access to care.

Methods: A literature search identified original studies published between 2018 and 2025 in PubMed, CINAHL, Scopus, and ScienceDirect to learn about the use of telehealth in postpartum care. This quality improvement project aimed to address the lack of standardized communication between staff and management within the behavioral health service line, as this contributed to a negative culture. This project explored if implementing standardized leadership rounds would increase nursing staff satisfaction compared non-standardized rounds. This project utilized a pre- and post- intervention survey design, with a survey consisting of 15 questions. Eleven (N=11) nurses participated in the study, completing both the pre- and post- intervention surveys. Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into nursing education presented significant opportunities yet posed challenges due to varied faculty readiness. This Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) quality improvement (QI) project evaluated an educational intervention aimed at enhancing nursing faculty's AI proficiency and confidence at Regis University’s Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions. Using a mixed-methods, pre- and post-intervention design, validated surveys assessed changes in faculty perceptions, knowledge, and skills related to AI. • Our team identified the lack of hand hygiene throughout the department.
• Hand washing is an important part of infection prevention, and not washing hands properly or not at all, increases the rate of infections for our patients.

Test anxiety has been identified as a significant problem in pre-licensure nursing students. This project aims to investigate how aromatherapy can alleviate the stress and anxiety associated with lower test scores and the emotional and psychological impacts it has on students' overall well-being. A literature review supported that students who experience test anxiety characteristically scored lower on high-stakes nursing exams than students who did not experience the same stress. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of pre-recorded educational videos on a hand-held tablet for improving asthma self-management knowledge. Content focused on disease processes, medication management, and medical device usage in an adult asthma clinic at an academic medical center.

Pre-recorded asthma education videos were created by study personnel and uploaded to the institutional research electronic data capture (REDCap) platform. INTRODUCTION: Providing education for graduate nursing students about implicit bias, covert/overt racism in the United States has become challenging due to state and federal policies. Yet, national accrediting bodies require these concepts in doctoral level nursing curricula. While these concepts may be viewed as divisive, faculty can facilitate meaningful discourse by fostering an authentic and safe learning environment.

METHODS: This article describes a curricular revision and our approach of integrating these concepts into a doctoral level ethics course using Mezirow's Transformative Learning Theory and Kitchenham's evolution of Mezirow's theory with instrumental learning, dialogic/discourse learning, and self-reflection.
