Employer managed health centers were investigated in order to develop a business proposal to present to a Midwestern city for implementation. Benefits to the employer and employee were investigated and included in the proposal. Companies of varying size have implemented successful onsite health centers and help to increase employee productivity while decreasing the overall cost of health care and health care insurance. Self-insured companies with at least 1000 employees are recommended and will provide the earliest return of investment.
