Background: Incorporating evidence-based approaches in maternity care throughout the entire trajectory from pregnancy through to the postnatal phase is integral to good public health. Yet, despite developing theories, frameworks, and models to guide midwives’ implementation efforts, implementing new evidence-based practices in midwifery practice settings remains challenging. Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is a complex disease that can be challenging to manage in the college environment. An effective communication strategy is vital to ensure that first-year students entering college with T1D take advantage of campus resources for self-management and self-advocacy. This qualitative study examined the perceptions of academic healthcare professionals regarding the availability and gaps in services for students with T1D at higher education institutions. Continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) estimate glucose levels in the interstitial fluid, updated every few minutes. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, CGMs are used by patients with Type 1 diabetes. However, research demonstrates that patients with Type 2 diabetes can also benefit from their use. The primary function of CGMs is to enhance glucose management, provide emergency alerts, and reduce the need for frequent fingerstick evaluation, promoting better long-term health. Menopause, a significant life transition for half the global population, intersects biological, cultural and social dimensions. Despite its universal occurrence, menopause research has historically been dominated by biomedical perspectives, often neglecting women's voices and diverse experiences. This article highlights the importance of including women's perspectives in menopause research to ensure relevance, accuracy and equity. It explores cultural variations in menopause experiences, the impact of socioeconomic status and the often-overlooked emotional and psychological dimensions. Higher percentages of the registered nurses (RN) workforce with a bachelor's degree have been associated with better patient outcomes. RN with a diploma in nursing who are upgrading their qualifications to a bachelor's degree in nursing enter universities in Kenya as mature and part-time students. Studies have shown that mature and part-time students in universities have a higher attrition than their full-time peers. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Limited data are available describing the frequency, severity, and consistency of prodromal symptoms followed by headache. This analysis of the PRODROME trial screening period characterized prodromal symptoms in people with migraine, including the most common symptoms and their severity, and the frequency and consistency with which prodromal symptoms were followed by headache.

METHODS: PRODROME was a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover trial conducted in the United States that enrolled adults with 2-8 migraine attacks per month who stated they could identify prodromal symptoms that were reliably followed by a headache. Background: Measuring quantitative menstrual cycle hormones at home may help women better understand their postpartum and perimenopause fertility transitions, but these quantitative fertility monitors require validation.

Materials and Methods: This study included 16 North American women, aged 28–51, during either the postpartum (n = 8, cycles = 18) or perimenopause (n = 8, cycles = 35) fertility transitions testing daily firstmorning urine testing with both the Mira Monitor and ClearBlue Fertility Monitor (CBFM) along with menstrual cycle parameter tracking. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: The International Classification of Headache Disorders, Third Edition (ICHD-3), significantly influences clinicians' understanding of headache disorders. In this study, we aim to elucidate how the hierarchical structure of ICHD-3 shapes the understanding of interconnectivity among headache disorders.

METHODS: A network comprises elements known as "nodes," with the connections between them referred to as "edges." In our study, a node represents a headache diagnosis that meets at least one ICHD-3 diagnostic criterion of the ICHD-3. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in soil is an ancient phenomenon with widespread spatial presence in terrestrial ecosystems. However, the natural processes shaping the temporal dissemination of AMR in soils are not well understood. We aimed to determine whether, how, and why AMR varies with soil age in recently deglaciated pioneer and developing Arctic soils using a space-for-time approach. Specifically, we assess how the magnitude and spread of AMR changes with soil development stages, including antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), mobile genetic elements (MGEs), and antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB). Carbon monoxide (CO) oxidising microorganisms are present in volcanic deposits throughout succession, with levels of vegetation and soil influencing the communities present. Carboxydovores are a subset of CO oxidisers that use CO as an energy source, which raises questions about the physiological and metabolic features that make them more competitive in harsh volcanic ecosystems. To address these questions, samples were taken from volcanic strata formed by eruptions from Calbuco Volcano (Chile) in 2015 (tephra) and 1917 (soil). Alarm fatigue refers to the phenomenon of excessive alarms in the healthcare system leading to staff ignoring or not hearing alarms that need clinical intervention (Bosma & Christopher, 2023). Healthcare staff experiencing alarm fatigue and desensitization leads to patient harm events up to and including death (Dee et al., 2022). Several interventions have proven effective to reduce non-actionable alarms or alarms that do not require action by the clinician.
