The History Of Gold Foil, George Edmund Williams

Bachelors’ Theses

Just when gold foil was first used is a matter of some conjecture. All historians differ in their views and it is so with the historians of dentistry. According to Dr. J. A. In the past it was customary to include into an articulator technique many bombastic theories …

Celluloid And Hecolite Dentures, Gilbert Clair Wildman Jun 1929

Celluloid And Hecolite Dentures, Gilbert Clair Wildman

Bachelors’ Theses

It closely resembles porcelain in the translucent live-tissue color of the mucous membrane and gums. In some cases, it proves very satisfactory while it discolors and quickly disintegrates in some mouths. Vulcanite is usually more durable. The value of celluloid depends upon the care given it by the possessor and the manipulation of the material while under construction.
