Introduction: An increasing number of studies discuss the relationship of walking with attitudes and perceptions. However, the findings are not consistent, and few studies have examined the relationship between walking and attitudes to overall mobility and multiple modes. In this paper, we contribute to these debates by exploring the relationship between walking for transport and broad attitudes to urban mobility and transport modes. Methods: Using a clustered random sample survey conducted in a second-tier city in China (N = 1048), we hypothesized that people with different attitudes have different amounts of walking for transport. New energy-saving techniques are regularly proposed; however, integrating all design parameters into the energy simulation specific knowledge and is time-consuming, making it difficult for non-experts in building energy analysis. This present study investigates the impact of envelope designs on household cooling energy consumption in housing complexes located in Bangkok neighborhood areas. This paper explores the impact of START-UP NY policy throughout simulations by using the agent-based model. In 2013, Governor Cuomo introduced the policy START-UP NY (New York), designed to create more jobs by helping people start or move their qualified businesses into tax-free zones. Many cities promote cycling as an environmentally friendly and healthier mode of urban transport. The challenge often is bigger than anticipated, as it involves inducing behavioural change among different groups of actors and reaching agreement about the reallocation of scarce resources. Recent experiences in Bangkok are illustrative. Here, multi-year efforts by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to promote cycling have yielded only partial success. Recreational cycling has increased, but utility cycling much less so. ลักษณะทางกายภาพของคลินิกทันตกรรมไม่ได้ออกแบบมาเพื่อการรองรับโรคระบาดCOVID-19 จึงจำเป็นต้องมีการปรับปรุงพื้นที่กายภาพและแนวปฏิบัติทางทันตกรรมระหว่างการเกิดโรคระบาด จึงเป็นที่มาวัตถุประสงค์ของงานวิจัยนี้คือ ศึกษาลักษณะทางกายภาพและการจัดการที่ปรับปรุงของคลินิกทันตกรรม คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ และมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ เพื่อหาข้อเท็จจริงเกี่ยวกับการปรับปรุงพื้นที่ทางกายภาพจากแนวปฏิบัติทางทันตกรรมในการรองรับไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 หรือสถานการณ์โรคระบาดอื่น ๆ และเป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานสำหรับการพัฒนาศึกษาพื้นที่ทางกายภาพ และการบริหารจัดการกายภาพของคลินิกทันตกรรม คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ในอนาคต โดยมีระเบียบวิธีวิจัย ได้แก่ การทบทวนวรรณกรรม การเก็บข้อมูลทั้งเอกสารแบบก่อสร้าง สัมภาษณ์และสำรวจพื้นที่จริง การวิเคราะห์สังเคราะห์ข้อมูล และการสรุปผลการวิจัย ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่าการปรับปรุงคลินิกทันตกรรม คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มี 5 ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง คือ ลักษณะและปีที่ก่อสร้างของอาคาร การออกแบบคลินิกทันตกรรม ลักษณะการใช้งานคลินิกทันตกรรม ลักษณะหัตถการ และงบประมาณ ดังนั้นในการออกแบบปรับปรุงกายภาพและการบริหารจัดการต้องพิจารณาเงื่อนไขต่าง ๆ ให้เหมาะสมรองรับสถานการณ์ระบาดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดด้วยทรัพยากรที่จำกัด คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ยังไม่มีแผนการรื้อถอนที่ปรับปรุงช่วงCOVID-19 เนื่องจากการปรับปรุงดังกล่าวสามารถเพิ่มระดับมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยคลินิกทันตกรรมให้ดียิ่งขึ้น ดังนั้นแนวโน้มทิศทางนี้จำเป็นต้องคำนึงถึงงบประมาณ วิธีการดูแลรักษาในอนาคต และแนวทางการออกแบบคลินิกทันตกรรมใหม่ในอนาคตอาจจะเปลี่ยนไปจากเดิม โดยมี 2 ปัจจัยที่ควรคำนึงถึงสำหรับการออกแบบในอนาคตคือการวางผังพื้นและการออกแบบพื้นที่สำหรับงานระบบในคลินิกทันตกรรม

งานวิจัยนี้มุ่งศึกษาองค์ประกอบเชิงกายภาพทางการท่องเที่ยวทั้ง 3 ประการ อันประกอบไปด้วย องค์ประกอบด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก และองค์ประกอบในด้านความสามารถในการเข้าถึงที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการดึงดูดค่าใช้จ่ายและสัดส่วนผู้พักค้าง ซึ่งเป็นพฤติกรรมการท่องเที่ยวตามนิยามของนักท่องเที่ยวคุณภาพ ในช่วง 5 ปีที่ผ่านมา (พ.ศ.2565 - พ.ศ.2562) ของทั้ง 55 จังหวัดเมืองรองที่ยังคงประสบปัญหาในด้านความเหลื่อมล้ำจากการกระจุกตัวของทั้งจำนวนและรายได้จากนักท่องเที่ยวในบางกลุ่มจังหวัด จนก่อให้เกิดปัญหาการเกินขีดความสามารถในการรองรับได้ (Carrying Capacity) ของพื้นที่ที่มีการเข้ามาของนักท่องเที่ยวในปริมาณมากต่อเนื่องไปจนถึงการส่งผลกระทบต่อเนื่องต่อคุณภาพของทรัพยากรการท่องเที่ยวภายในเมือง จึงนำมาสู่การประเมินถึงความพร้อมของพื้นที่ในการรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวของทุกจังหวัดเมืองรอง ผ่านการวิเคราะห์ชุดข้อมูลองค์ประกอบทางการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกายภาพในแต่ละด้าน รวมไปถึงชุดข้อมูลค่าใช้จ่ายเฉลี่ยต่อหัวต่อคนต่อวันและสัดส่วนนักท่องเที่ยวต่อผู้เยี่ยมเยือนในช่วง 5 ปี โดยใช้วิธีการจัดทำชุดข้อมูลทั้ง 2 ประเภทให้ออกมาในรูปของค่าคะแนนมาตรฐาน (Standard Score) และนำมาจัดกลุ่มตามระดับค่าคะแนนด้วยเทคนิคการแบ่งช่วงชั้นของข้อมูลแบบธรรมชาติ (Natural Breaks) เพื่อประเมินถึงสภาพในปัจจุบันขององค์ประกอบการท่องเที่ยว พร้อมทั้งศักยภาพในการดึงดูดค่าใช้จ่ายและสัดส่วนผู้พักค้างของแต่ละจังหวัดเมืองรอง ซึ่งผลการประเมินทั้ง 2 ชุดข้อมูลนี้จะสามารถนำมาประกอบการทิศทางของแผนการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวให้สามารถเกิดความสมดุลทั้งในฝั่งของนักท่องเที่ยวและฝั่งของพื้นที่เมืองรอง ภายหลังจากการประเมินถึงศักยภาพในปัจจุบันของพื้นที่แล้วนั้น จึงได้ทำการวิเคราะห์ถึงองค์ประกอบเชิงกายภาพทางการท่องเที่ยวทั้ง 3 ด้าน ที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการดึงดูดการใช้จ่ายและการพักค้างของนักท่องเที่ยว โดยจะวิเคราะห์ด้วยวิธีการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณ (Multiple Regression Analysis) ซึ่งผลการวิเคราะห์พบว่าองค์ประกอบการท่องเที่ยวในเมืองรองที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการดึงดูดการใช้จ่ายและการพักค้างของนักท่องเที่ยวนั้น จะ ประกอบไปด้วยองค์ประกอบการท่องเที่ยวในด้านสิ่งดึงดูดใจในประเด็นของจำนวนแหล่งท่องเที่ยวธรรมชาติ และองค์ประกอบในด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในประเด็นจำนวนร้านอาหาร จากผลการวิเคราะห์ดังกล่าวได้นำมาสู่การวางแผนนโยบายในการพัฒนาองค์ประกอบการท่องเที่ยวของแต่ละบริบทเมืองรองในปัจจุบัน ให้มีศักยภาพเพียงพอที่จะดึงดูดค่าใช้จ่ายและการพักค้างซึ่งเป็นพฤติกรรมการท่องเที่ยวตามนิยามของนักท่องเที่ยวคุณภาพ พร้อมกันนั้นได้มีการจัดทำข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับกระบวนการในการดำเนินงานของภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชนและภาคประชาชน ให้สามารถดำเนินงานตามแผนการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเมืองรองให้สามารถดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวที่มีการใช้จ่ายและการพักค้างได้อย่างสัมฤทธิ์ผล

The effect of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) retrofitting and concrete type on the flexural strength of prestressed concrete I-section girders used in bridges and beams in buildings is investigated. Non-linear moment-curvature relationships are predicted using an iterative algorithm for both non-retrofitted and CFRP-retrofitted prestressed concrete girder and beam cross-sections with various concrete types. Two different CFRP-retrofitting schemes are analyzed for comparing their effectiveness. It is found that although non-retrofitted beam section exhibits greater ductility, the use of CFRP retrofitting in both tension and compression regions simultaneously results in a significant increase in flexural strength. In particular, there has been a growing interest in thermoresponsive (TR) smart windows that are activated by ambient temperature changes. Accurately forecasting the construction expenditure cash flow of transportation projects is critical for state departments of transportation (state DOTs) to secure sufficient funding to cover their fiscal obligations throughout the project development timeline. However, there is no quantitative model to assist state DOTs in accurately forecasting expenditure cash flows for design-build projects. At the outset of awarding a typical design-build contract, the design has not been finalized to enable exact quantities for a detailed cost estimate. การศึกษานี้มุ่งวิเคราะห์และอธิบายแนวทางการออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรม รวมถึงอิทธิพลที่ส่งผลต่อการออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมของพระสาโรชรัตนนิมมานก์ (สาโรช สุขยางค์) ผ่านการศึกษาภูมิหลัง แนวคิด แนวทางการศึกษา และผลงานออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรม รวบรวมหลักฐาน ทั้งเอกสารข้อเขียน เอกสารราชการ แบบสถาปัตยกรรม และตัวสถาปัตยกรรมที่ยังหลงเหลืออยู่ โดยคัดเลือกอาคารกรณีศึกษา 24 หลัง ที่สร้างขึ้นในช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2463 – 2493 และนำไปวิเคราะห์หาลักษณะร่วมและความแตกต่างในงานออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรม ผลการศึกษาชี้ชัดได้ว่า พระสาโรชรัตนนิมมานก์ได้รับอิทธิพลทางสถาปัตยกรรมมาจากทั้งบริบทสถาปัตยกรรมไทย และสถาปัตยกรรมตะวันตก โดยผสานความรู้ความเข้าใจในวิธีการออกแบบ กับรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมตะวันตกในแนวทางของโบซารต์และโรงเรียนลิเวอร์พูล จากพื้นฐานการศึกษา รูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมอาร์ตเดโค อิตาเลียนฟาสซิสต์ และพีดับบลิวเอโมเดิร์น ในช่วงการประกอบวิชาชีพ ประกอบกับรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมไทยประเพณี จากการทำงานร่วมกับสถาปนิกไทยที่ออกแบบในแนวทางดังกล่าว นอกจากนี้ การศึกษาค้นพบว่า พระสาโรชรัตนนิมมานก์ใช้แนวทางการออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมแบบโบซารต์ตลอดช่วงการประกอบวิชาชีพ ทั้งการใช้ระบบกริด (grid) และระบบแกน (axis) ในการออกแบบผังพื้นและรูปด้านอาคาร การวางระบบทางสัญจรโดยใช้โถงและทางเดิน การกำหนดรูปทรงอาคารด้วยระบบฐาน – ตัว – หัว ระบบช่องเปิด ตลอดจนระบบมุขและปีกอาคาร แม้จะมีแนวทางในการออกแบบเดียว แต่ผลงานสถาปัตยกรรมของพระสาโรชรัตนนิมมานก์ ก็มีรูปแบบและรูปทรงที่หลากหลาย เพื่อตอบสนองเหตุปัจจัย และบริบทของอาคารแต่ละหลัง เช่น แนวแกน และทางสัญจรในผังบริเวณ รูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมของอาคารข้างเคียง สภาพภูมิอากาศ ตลอดจนความเหมาะสมกับประเภทการใช้งานของอาคาร ด้วยแนวทางการออกแบบดังกล่าว ประกอบกับบทบาทสำคัญในวิชาชีพและวิชาการสถาปัตยกรรมในประเทศไทย ในช่วงเปลี่ยนผ่านจากสมัยสมบูรณาญาสิทธิราชย์มาเป็นระบอบประชาธิปไตย พระสาโรชรัตนนิมมานก์จึงเป็นผู้กำหนดทิศทางของสถาปัตยกรรมไทยสมัยใหม่ หรือ “สถาปัตยกรรมแบบทันสมัย” ซึ่งงานศึกษานี้เสนอว่าน่าจะนิยามจากมิติทางสถาปัตยกรรมที่ซับซ้อน ในบริบทจำเพาะของประเทศไทย มากกว่าการพยายามอธิบายภายในกรอบอันจำกัดของรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมตะวันตก หรืออุดมการณ์ทางการเมืองอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใด

This paper will provide readers with an understanding of the variables that US transit agencies grapple with when developing fare policy, with a particular focus on the political process. The framework chapter will examine the objectives of public transportation and how agencies face difficulties in achieving these objectives.
