An instructor can use this tool to generate a report that "displays the summary of usage for that content item and [the students] enrolled in the course. The access date, hour and day of the week are all reported for the selected item and [students]." In this case study the researcher will correlate aggregate data about students' visits to numerous content items in a course and their final grade in the course. The promise of cognitive innovation as a collaborative project in the sciences, arts and humanities is that we can approach creativity as a bootstrapping cognitive process in which the energies that shape the poem are necessarily indistinguishable from those that shape the poet. It all started with a question: How would we write a mythology for our time? We began with the recent past—the 20th century—and the paintings of Marc Chagall. We encountered a brutal and chaotic century, one in which cataclysm and destruction branded the times. This is how we chose to walk alongside Chagall. For the better part of the 20th century, he chose the flight of the imagination, folk tradition, and the collision of dreams as his portal of memory, as a means of passage through the war and revolution and exile that he painted.

A new version of Georges Feydeau's farce by David Ives
Directed by Tamiko Washington

Ives’ reimagining of the George Feydeau comedy is a farcical romp set in France at the turn of the 20th century. Raymonde Chandebise suspects her husband Victor is having an affair after he suddenly seems blasé about sex (though it’s actually due to a nervous condition). This sets off a whirlwind of comic mishaps, wild misunderstandings, and hilarious exchanges at the Frisky Puss Hotel!

Pulitzer prize winning playwright John Patrick Shanley wrote, “Theatre is a safe place to do the unsafe things that need to be done.” For my Capstone Project, I have compiled my autobiographical poetry, prose, and performance monologues into a theatrical manuscript to be used as the basis for a play. The final Capstone Project is a manuscript of an anticipated theatrical production based on the grieving process surrounding my brother's suicide, as well as an exploration of my sexuality and the relationships I developed during the years surrounding his death.
